OlderLindsay Lohan Arrested for DUI — AGAIN!
Lindsay Lohan was arrested for drunk driving in Santa Monica around 2:15AM this morning, according to TMZ.
Lindsay, 21, was arrested near Pico Boulevard and Main Street, where cocaine was found in her pants pocket and her blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit. This is her second bust in less than a year.
The 21-year-old trouble starlet was driving on a suspended license and was apparently driving under the influence as she was given a walk-the-line test and flunked.
Lindsay is out of jail after being “cooperative” — her bail was reportedly $25,000. Her mug shot is pictured left.
What happened to her alcohol detecting bracelet??? Or her 45 days in rehab???
UPDATE: Lindsay’s attorney Blair Berk issued the following statement: “Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a SCRAM bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care.”

I usually could not care less about these young girls who lives for drinking, partying and taking drugs but this is just wrong. Where the heck is her mother? I know it’s mostly Lindsay’s fault but she is 21 years old now. When I was 20 I was working 2 jobs and trying to support my whole family.
She has everything - fame, looks, talent. Why is she wasting all these? Her family is crap but a lot of people get above it. If not her mother, where is her publicist or the other people who profit from her? Truly a sad case.
She needs to go to jail for a while. Maybe that’ll be a wake-up call for her.
The fact that some of you are so angry at her shows that you care. Maybe some of you dealt with this in your own families and wanna lash out on her
obviously she likes the attention she got for being in rehab… is she looking forward to the day when she’ll actually hurt (or worst) somebody else?
i can’t believe it! how could she do this again? i thought of all the girls she would make it. she has talent. she will get jail time for sure this time
Her career might really be in jeapardy now. Who would hire her for a movie if she’s spending all her time in jail/rehab? It would be too big a risk. Movies have to stick to their production schedules. It’s very sad, she had a lot of talent.

I wouldn’t go that far.
The girl had promise and like most humans, I hate to see someone squander a blessing like that. She absolutely needs to get away from that family of hers. While I think that Dina wants something for Lindsey, deep down, Dina is jealous and quite frankly, scared sh*tless about the potential future Lindsey could have if she was drug-free.
I don’t come from a family where substance abuse ran rampant, but I do come from one where people say that they want you to achieve your full potential but they interject their concern (read:negativity) in order to hinder any progress you may achieve because, maybe, if you achieved something beyond their reach, they will have to examine why you and not them.
A 45 day stint in rehab isn’t an automatic fix.Lindsay will try and fail a number of times. Look at Robert Downey Jr. He finally went to prison for a while…like a year, wasn’t it? He’s been clean for a good while now, but even he says it is a constant struggle. It takes guts and inner strength. I fully expected Lindsay to fail. She started partying with all the same people,staying in the same environment,it was impossible for her not to fail. She never really changed any of her habits or her lifestyle. Since she clearly has no support system in her personal life (parents, family, friends) maybe the court system will get harsh on her and give her the tough love she needs.She has just turned 21. Lindsay strikes me as a dumb smart person. Some counselor has to help her knock down all those walls and rebuild. If she doesn’t change, she will destroy herself. Not in a big flashy bang, but with a lonnnnng, ugly, downward spiral. Ten years from now, she will look like some faded, used up coke ***** who can’t find any work.

Addiction is a hard thing to beat, especially if you don’t have the support of real friends and family. I hope she finally gets real help.

What a shame, she’s actually talented. The DUIs are one thing, but this is twice busted with cocaine. There probably will be jailtime.

And she has a movie coming out on Friday.
This is the worst time for her to fcuk up; she’s had several flops in a row. If she’s banking on her newfound notoriety to bolster ticket sales, that’s a pretty big gamble, even if the film is darker than her usual films.

Not that I’m releasing her from any responsibility, but aren’t the media and the public partially responsible too? Remember that Vanity Fair article where she let it slip that she had some substance abuse issue, which she later recanted? The media and the public seemed to accept it without argument or interest.
Yes, substance abuse is a private matter that a person should be allowed to handle privately, but when someone goes out in public and acts like a zip-damn fool, like Anna Nicole, Andy ****, etc., and no one intervened or checked them, but instead, train their cameras and mikes on the trainwreck that is unfolding in front of us, and we watch them… there is something wrong with that too.
LL needs to go away from Hollywood and her called mom, she needs to find someone who really care about her and not her money

How exactly are the media and the public responsible for this priveleged adult making horrible choices - OVER and OVER again??
