OlderLindsay Lohan Arrested for DUI — AGAIN!
Lindsay Lohan was arrested for drunk driving in Santa Monica around 2:15AM this morning, according to TMZ.
Lindsay, 21, was arrested near Pico Boulevard and Main Street, where cocaine was found in her pants pocket and her blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit. This is her second bust in less than a year.
The 21-year-old trouble starlet was driving on a suspended license and was apparently driving under the influence as she was given a walk-the-line test and flunked.
Lindsay is out of jail after being “cooperative” — her bail was reportedly $25,000. Her mug shot is pictured left.
What happened to her alcohol detecting bracelet??? Or her 45 days in rehab???
UPDATE: Lindsay’s attorney Blair Berk issued the following statement: “Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a SCRAM bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care.”

There’s no way she’s not going to jail.
She is so bloody stupid, this has to be the dumbiest news i heard for a while (after paris, gosh dumb ass, i think ms hilton had set a damn well example) none of these freaking wannabe actress will ever learn about the simplest rule of the game, drink and don’t drive. PLAIN and SIMPLE.
You can do all the drugs you want, drink all you want… all you have to do is DON’T drive.
Personally I am an alcoholic, and I had been a drinker for almost 15 years, my drinking is uncontrollable, i don’t deny it, but it is not against the law to drink as much as you want, BUT it is when you drive a car.
There are so many celebrities out there that are famous alcoholics. They don’t get in as much **** as these young reckless bull **** wannabes. GOSH hired a freaking driver, dumb ****…

I have been to rehab (not Hollywood-style) and can tell you that Lohan, who is only 21, has a long, unhappy road ahead. There will be many relapses. It will not help her to tell her what a bad person she is. She has a very, very bad disease. Until it happens to you or a family member, you have no idea.
They have her on like four different charges, this is way worse than the Hilton thing.

Normally celebrity screw-ups are entertaining, given their ridiculous income and all the “help” they have access to that most others don’t. But this… this is genuinely saddening. She has a very long road ahead of her. Who knows what her “bottom” will be. I wish her all the best.

Lindsay is a lucky girl. Very lucky. It takes 3 seconds to take a person’s life while driving under the influence and it could easily have happened to her last night.
Only Lindsay is responsible but shame on all those who stood by and allowed it to happen.
pathetic…and, unfortunately, predictable. She needs to go dry out somewhere faaaar away from L.A., it’s too easy to slide back into old habits. And she (and Britney and Nicole and the rest) need to address the mental illness that’s at the root of their addictive personalities. Seriously. Before they kill some innocent person while they’re driving all lit up…
There comes a time when you have to own up to your mistakes and quit blaming parents, friends, culture, the town you live in, the neighbor next door, etc. She has to be held accountable for her own actions. If Paris belonged in jail for driving with a suspended license, then surely Linds does as well. Those who want to get clean do, they will find people who will help them stay clean, and will remove the tempations that will prevent them from staying clean. She made the choice to break the law and disappoint the fans who have been standing behind her. Bad decisions yeild bad consequences. Let’s hope she gets everything she deserves.
I think part of the problem is exactly what the cold people on here are saying about her every single day of her life. Its gotta be hard on someone when people you don’t know are basically calling you names and saying you deserve what you get when they don’t know you. I can’t imagine what that’s like. I just wish she gets help and care.
I don’t feel sorry for her, because she has a hot movie career thought alot more actress deserved, All Lohan does is take things for granted, I wish shows like E! news would stop giving her,Nicole, Britney and Paris so much attention then maybe they would change their ways.Lohan should quit Hollywood and go away for real.

The media covers her, right? And based on the media’s coverage/slant, the public either buys the tabs featuring her or movie tickets for her movies, or makes her a draw for late night talk shows or sit-downs for entertainment shows, which we all know lob softball questions that doesn’t require in-depth, introspective answers. Example… Anna Nicole. For years, we… well those who paid attention to Anna Nicole, saw that she was fcuked up. And when her son died, she was even more fcuked up. But instead of her seeking out therapy, she sought out Entertainment Tonight, Insider, and the tabloids. The public watched the interviews and bought the tabs; the entertainment shows and tabs got a lot of attention, ratings and money, and the coverage continued, even after she died.
Now Anna Nicole Smith was completely responsible for what happened to her; the people around her should have served as some sort of second-tier protection for her and we know that they didn’t do $hit for her. So the question is whether the media refused to cover her in her impaired state and the public refused to watch or read anything about her while she was wrecked, would that have made a difference to her? Possibly it could have, although that would’ve been an even sadder thing, since the public perception would’ve counted for more than her own perception of herself or the perception of her family (Daniel).
What a f*cking piece of sh*t of a human being she is. A waste to humanity and totally has no clue how to understand this excuse of disease. She has been on rehab many times and still don’t get it. She doesn’t give a sh*t to anyone she might hurt by driving drunk. She is one numb individual who is sooo f*cked up.
