OlderAngelina Jolie in ‘Beowulf’ — FIRST LOOK
Here is your first look at Angelina Jolie in Robert Zemeckis’s animated film Beowulf, which is set for a Nov. 17th release.
The LA Times describes the pictured scene: “Angelina Jolie’s lips look even fuller than usual. She’s emerging naked from a pool of dank cave water, rivulets of gold streaming gently down her body.
“Giiiif meee sonnnn,” she coos, in an Old English accent.
Her flaxen hair is braided down her back in a long tail that slowly undulates and slaps the dark pool around her. She continues to purr enticements about making babies as a virtual camera circles 360 degrees panning around her long limbs and waist. Gold dribbles down her inner thighs past her feet, revealing sharp stilettos merged with bestial hooves.
Beowulf is a hyper violent and highly sexualized tale of the warrior Beowulf (Ray Winstone) who must slay the monster Grendel (Crispin Glover). Later, Grendel’s mother (Jolie) seduces Beowulf so that she can produce a replacement heir that will allow her to reestablish her dominion over the kingdom. (Hence, Giiiif meee sonnn.)”

“It is a well known fact in Hollywood that Jen has her”movie career” because she used and abused all of Brad’s network connections. Insiders also know what a self-centered, needy , overly ambitious fake she is. I do not condone cheating etc. but not all divorces/splits are the same. Jennifer basically is reaping what she sowed. Accountability does not seem to be part of her vocabulary or in the understanding by her fans. She mis-represented herself to Brad . He married her thinking she was really the person who her publicist has created, the all-american girl next door. You know the one who wants the white picket fence and a bunch of kids running around? Marriage allowed her what her talent alone could not get her. If she had been so talented she would made to the big screen before her marriage & while she was much younger like so many others. Her husband was an “A” list actor who could open the doors that her lack of real talent had kept shut. Got her a top agent, publicist etc.
“An emotionally neglected spouse, be it male or female is vulnerable to anyone who suddenly pays attention to them. Specially someone like Angie. A 250 watt light bulb to Jen’s 40 watts. She should have been on location with her husband offering the emotional and physical companionship (that he apparently was not getting from Jen. But her career was more important. As I tell my kids, if something (toy etc.) is important and valuable to you; they take care of them. If they don’t they break or they are lost or stolen. Relationships are the same. The divorce has been the best thing for her career that Jen and her publicist have milked for every drop possible. She has been on more covers than ever before. Pity awards and a pity invitation as a presenter to the Oscars. She has a string of movies to her credit and more coming and is much wealthier and famous than she would have ever been without Brad. An no kids to worry and take care of. Boy, she really has it bad doesn’t she? Ask the woman with kids whose husband has died or left for whatever reasons, and is barely making it from pay check to paycheck about how tough poor Jennifer has it.

WOW Pitt and Jolie are really desperate. Remember the good old days when they didn’t care about the tabloids said and ignored them and just lived their lives. Now they have become like Brad used to with Jennifer. Any bad story they do some more press. He obviously follows the tabloids and the same day that they come out with these stories in in touch and life and style his rep calls US weekly and they run a story in people. WOw PR at work! Must make you guys a little nervous though. WHen the rep calls to say that things are OK it usually means that they are not. REmember him with Jennifer. Deny, Deny, Deny until it happens. Where there is smoke there’s fire. But don’t worry Brad will probably stay with her for the kids sake. No need to be stressing about them splitting up they have a family now and many more kids to come so they will be together forever and ever (or a few years from now when jolie is 40 and he gets a new 25 year old on screen for love scenes!

Angelina Jolie is doing to Pakistan what Ben Kingsley did to India 25 years ago. But her effect is the exact opposite of that of the English icon. If Kingsley’s Oscar-winning performance as Gandhi showed India in a new light and drew reverential attention to the Mahatma’s philosophy worldwide, Jolie’s role as Marianne Pearl in A Mighty Heart, a movie about the kidnapping and murder of the journalist, Daniel Pearl, may succeed where New Delhi’s lobbyists engaged to influence the American media and the public have made very limited gains.
Jolie, albeit inadvertently, is drawing the attention of Americans to the mess that Pakistan is with her screen portrayal of Pearl’s widow in the movie, which was released in theatres in the United States of America more than a month ago. And thanks to Hollywood’s mega-machine for publicity, the state of General Pervez Musharraf’s moth-eaten, double-dealing regime is finally dawning on both ordinary Americans and the country’s intellectuals.
Why else would Foreign Policy magazine, founded by Samuel Huntington and published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, have carried an interview with Jolie as the main story on its web portal in the same week that it ranked Pakistan in the 13th place in a print edition cover story on “failed states”? Or why would Newsweek have put Jolie on its cover and carried a slew of articles on Pakistan, including a column by the Indian-American, Fareed Zakaria, entitled “The Real Problem with Pakistan”, which also focusses on A Mighty Heart?
