OlderAngelina Jolie in ‘Beowulf’ — FIRST LOOK
Here is your first look at Angelina Jolie in Robert Zemeckis’s animated film Beowulf, which is set for a Nov. 17th release.
The LA Times describes the pictured scene: “Angelina Jolie’s lips look even fuller than usual. She’s emerging naked from a pool of dank cave water, rivulets of gold streaming gently down her body.
“Giiiif meee sonnnn,” she coos, in an Old English accent.
Her flaxen hair is braided down her back in a long tail that slowly undulates and slaps the dark pool around her. She continues to purr enticements about making babies as a virtual camera circles 360 degrees panning around her long limbs and waist. Gold dribbles down her inner thighs past her feet, revealing sharp stilettos merged with bestial hooves.
Beowulf is a hyper violent and highly sexualized tale of the warrior Beowulf (Ray Winstone) who must slay the monster Grendel (Crispin Glover). Later, Grendel’s mother (Jolie) seduces Beowulf so that she can produce a replacement heir that will allow her to reestablish her dominion over the kingdom. (Hence, Giiiif meee sonnn.)”

As for Angelina saying they are taking time off, she also said she was going to stay home and watch the kids for awhile but what did she do few weeks later? She went to work. Nothing’s set in stone with her. She can change her mind about taking a year off.

I’m so excited to see what they look like together now. I saw a pic of them at Live 8 in 2005 but he had the platinum thing going and his back to the camera. Wasn’t a good and proper shot.
Was never a fan of hers and I always thought she was the oddest looking girl (naturally disposed to looking sad), but I think she has grown into a real beauty and Brad has never looked better than he does now so I think the two of them on screen and being loving towards each other is going to be really hot.
How lovely to know they will be spending time again. How lovely indeed.

Box office numbers can be a real bummer. According to a source close to Angelina Jolie, 32, the actress is “devastated” by the audience rejection of her movie A Mighty Heart (it has earned just $9 million).
“She poured her heart into the story and can’t believe people don’t understand how important it is,” the insider tells Us Weekly in this week’s issue.
Helping to lighten her mood: a vacation in France with Brad Pitt, 43, and their four kids.
The whole clan is staying at a $13,818-a-week rental manor in Marthon, which boasts a swimming pool and private theater.
(Family friend Mariane Pearl, whom Jolie played in the film, was seen joining them.)
Says an insider, “Brad and Angelina wanted to get away from everything, and France is a great place to do that.”

She looked up from her aperitif. “Ye..eah?” Knowledge lit her confused features. “Brad…Brad Pitt.” God he was gorgeous. What she’d like to do to him.
Brad took his chance. “Yeah, I came in to grab a bite and saw you over here by your lonesome and thought…hey why not say hello.” He wiggled his fingers in salutation. “Soooo…hello.” He smiled; putting every loose pheromone he had coursing through his body into that one smile. Then adding the finishing touches to his skill. “Well I’ll go and let you eat. I didn’t come to interrupt you, just to say hi.” He waved again and turned away.
Her husky voice stopped him. “Well if you’re here alone and I’m alone why not share a table?” Angelina smiled up at him. This was trouble, she knew it but lord he was gorgeous. She watched as he sat slowly.

HW: Given it’s an independent film, but a summer release, will you be watching box office numbers this weekend?
AJ: First of all, I never do! I’ll be somewhere hanging with the kids, and I won’t know. I do live with the producer [Brad Pitt] so I may hear something [laughs]. The great thing about this film was that it was done very low budget. So we don’t have a lot of pressure. Nobody made it for the reason of making money. Even the producers themselves and the studio don’t care, really. They want it to be good, and they were really happy that there was a positive response to the product.
