OlderAngelina Jolie in ‘Beowulf’ — FIRST LOOK
Here is your first look at Angelina Jolie in Robert Zemeckis’s animated film Beowulf, which is set for a Nov. 17th release.
The LA Times describes the pictured scene: “Angelina Jolie’s lips look even fuller than usual. She’s emerging naked from a pool of dank cave water, rivulets of gold streaming gently down her body.
“Giiiif meee sonnnn,” she coos, in an Old English accent.
Her flaxen hair is braided down her back in a long tail that slowly undulates and slaps the dark pool around her. She continues to purr enticements about making babies as a virtual camera circles 360 degrees panning around her long limbs and waist. Gold dribbles down her inner thighs past her feet, revealing sharp stilettos merged with bestial hooves.
Beowulf is a hyper violent and highly sexualized tale of the warrior Beowulf (Ray Winstone) who must slay the monster Grendel (Crispin Glover). Later, Grendel’s mother (Jolie) seduces Beowulf so that she can produce a replacement heir that will allow her to reestablish her dominion over the kingdom. (Hence, Giiiif meee sonnn.)”

Finishing her sip, she placed the wine glass on the table and sent her tongue darting over her lush bottom lip to catch a stray drop of red wine. “I haven’t actually, so you’re in luck.” She gave him a quick sultry smile. “So Bradley, what are you doing here in London?” Staring into his eyes she thought; oh yeah this was trouble…God was this going to get close.
Brad cleared his throat. “Well…do you want a lie or the truth?”
“Never lie if you could tell the truth, unless of course the lie is exciting.” She leaned forward, stopping at the candle lit centerpiece. “So excite me Bradley.”
Brad stared into those catlike hazel eyes. She was dangerous…a hot kind of dangerous. “Excite you?” He chuckled softly. “So you want me to lie?”
“Listen, you and I don’t really know each other. After you leave this restaurant it will be another what? Year or two…maybe more before our paths cross again so you tell me whatever story you need to make this dinner a memorable one.”

“Just returned from the premiere screening of Beowulf in San Diego. It’s late but I promised Stewart I’d report in….
Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary greeted a small theater filled to capacity and introduced each segment in turn - first, the trailer, then Reel Two of the film in its entirety, then a brief teaser trailer.
My impressions of what I saw:
• The story sounds like it could be a interesting take on the Beowulf we all know - Roger Avary mentioned “filling in the blanks” of an ancient oral narrative, assuming bits and pieces could have been lost along the line.
• The visuals are startlingly realistic but still can only come within 95% of true photoreality. Personally, I’d prefer a more stylized approach so that things like dead eyes, flaccid hands, and rubbery mumbly mouths don’t distract.
• Having said that, Angelina Jolie’s nude body dripping with liquid gold is hard to deny. Even if they did make her look like a Barbie doll “down there.”
• The film will be distributed in standard projection, Real D 3D and IMAX 3D. The presentation we saw was the Real D process and it was interesting in a gimmicky way. I’m not sure how it will add to the story but it certainly makes attending the film in the theater more of a unique experience. There were a few gratuitous SCTV “House of Pancakes” moments with swords of spurting blood projecting into my face but for the most part the 3D is used with restraint and to good effect.” (Dave)

As Ghandi said “”The moral progress of a nation can be judged by the way it treats its animals”. So don’t take this too lightly. TIFF: A Mayjah Year
Cate Blanchett was already on her way. Same goes for Clive Owen. And Ryan Gosling. And George Clooney!
Big big stars scheduled this year to show their projects at the Toronto International Film Festival and now… even bigger stars. In fact, it’s shaping up to be an Oceans 13 reunion of sorts.
Matt Damon will return to my home town to host the One x One benefit gala on September 9th. Matt hosted last year and his friend Brad Pitt just happened to be in town. Brad made an appearance at the event of course and chances are he will make another one.
Because Brad’s movie The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford has just been announced as a special presentation at TIFF!!!

Keira’s Atonement has also been added to the TIFF Slate in addition to Battle in Seattle directed by Stuart Townsend, long time boyfriend of… Charlize Theron. Yet another A list superstar who will most definitely come to support her man. But oh wait…there’s more.
One of the most highly anticipated movies – I’m Not There, directed by Todd Haynes of Far From Heaven, the film features several renowned actors interpreting Bob Dylan. Among them: Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger, and Julianne Moore. Heath back in Toronto? Last year, he was off his head. Perhaps a repeat performance?
Get ready Toronto… TIFF is around the corner. Last year I was on party duty for eTalk. This year, as is the case every year, eTalk will be everywhere.

Both sides are wrong - why??? No body posting here knows Jennifer, Brad, and Angelina personally. No of you were in their marriage, on their vacations, on the set of Mr.&Mrs. Smith (like Vince was) nor are in best friends with either of the three of them. Yet, both sides talk like the know everything about it all. I am sure, just like it always happens in this kind of situation, that if any of the complete truth of what really happened came out, both sides would be shocked about their idols. That’s what happens when you become this obsessed about other people, instead of putting that energy in your own lives.
