Jennifer Aniston’s Big Apple Dinner

25 July 2007 (Sawf News) - While ex Brad Pitt tours Europe with girlfriend Angelina Jolie, Aniston is happily indulging her taste buds in the nation’s finest dining spots.

Last month, she did Japanese with best friend Courteney Cox at NoBu in Malibu. Just the other day, she went for Italian with Cox in tow at Giorgio Baldi, a Santa Monica fixture. The two scarfed down breadsticks and carpaccio al tartufo while washing it down with San Benedetto sparkling water. When she was leaving the restaurant, HSN pitchwoman Suzanne Somers came to say hello to the pair.

Aniston is known, among other things, for her carefree style and laidback taste. She is probably the total opposite of Victoria Beckham who wouldn’t be caught dead without a pair of heels and revealing dress. But confident as Jen is, she doesn’t need all the frills to know she’s attractive. Seen in this recent photograph exiting a major NYC restaurant, she sports a sleeveless black dress with no makeup, black thong slippers and matching oversized bag. Apart from the outfit, she holds what appears to be a white wool pashmina even though the summer forecast in the city is fairly humid. Now why the scarf? The black clothing being no shocker for a native New Yorker like Aniston, the scarf just tells us maybe it’s a gift from someone special. Keeping her warm in other ways, if not from the already wet climate during a city summer.

I think the Pre-Brad Jen was probably a very happy, fun loving, hardworking young woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. We really don’t know THAT Jen-I am sure she would Love to resurrect THAT Jen again-

Although I joke and kid sometimes, I never forget that I am a woman and I have worked very hard in my life-I think most women have-A woman cannot successfully build her “Kingdom” while tearing another woman’s down. That includes insults-malice and slander towards other women. Sure there are some I detest and dislike, but I make an effort to communicate that in a way that does not “tear down”-because really, if I do that, I am tearing myself down in the process-

Get real people.

First, how could anyone that is a Jolie fan ever critize Jen for lack of changing her hairstyle? Jolie has been wearing that horsey hair of hers forever. You should talk about her lack of style, she has had that style so long she looks completely dirty with it on a regular basis. At least Jen showers.

Secondly, lets get real.In the world I live in, that is the real world for those of you that are lost. Brad Pitt wouldn’t be a prize that anyone would be fighting over. If I were Jen, I would be glad he showed his true colors before having a child with him. And if I were Jolie, I would worry when he is going to fall in lust with his next lady co-star. When these two women fight over him, makes them both appeare weak.A major embarrassment to the rest of us who can see the situation for what it is. But, oh thats right, he means much more to them because his level of international fame keeps them in the limelight. I always forget these celebrity women have different priorities from those of us who live in the real world. I suppose that would be the difference.

Yes, I agree but, Jen did not fight for Brad. She gave him a divorce and let him go. Both her and Brad are happy about it. That all.
You are right about celebrities having different priorities from the rest of us because their world is different then the rest of us. That is why most people have a problem understanding them. Of course, all of them think about their careers and their image also. It is the fans and tabloids who keep this sh*t going. The fans on both side because of whatever bothers them at the moment and the tabloids want to make money, and they are making a lot of money off those who buy their publications. Therefore, they can’t let it go and continue on and on like a broken record. Brad and Jennifer were not the first people in Hollywood to get a divorce. And If Brad and Angelina part ways, it will not be a first either. Anything can happen and no one can predict the future.

I like to read about celebs, and I have read many comments by other actors about Angelina. They have all been very positive and glowing. You may not like her, that is your choice but come on… let’s live in reality here.

Well said. Some people love to hate so much that their hatred gets clouded with reality. If some of you would get your heads out of the clouds for awhile then you would admit to yourself that Jen is mediocre and plain. I think the people that loves and admire her are fooled by this “poor me, feel sorry for me routine that she has been pulling for the past 3 years. I have also read alot about actors, politicans and other celebs commenting on Angie’s acting and more importantly her humanitarian work. When I read anything about anyone saying anything about Jen it’s always “she’s a nice, sweet girl.”

OMG that whole article is a JOKE.. some of these gossip sites just love to cater to the fanistons. Aniston has been hiding her big chin and fugly face with something..(often a scarf) for a couple of years at least. Remember her coming back from London after finally “breaking up” with vince?

It has become her security blanket, much like her stringy hair that is often in her face.

Does she have her hair stylist friend do her hair? If so, she needs to tell him that friendship aside, he sucks as a hair stylist. She needs a makeover. She’s pretty, but she’s stuck in a time warp. I think that’s part of the reason why people still think she hasn’t moved on. It’s because she hasn’t changed. This picture could have been taken 5 years ago and there would be no difference. Same hair, same clothes, same style.

um, before brad, jennifer has been described by her ex, tate donovan as being high maitenance, and has described herself as being neurotic with low self esteem, and that is why her first year of marriage was difficult.

But maybe you are right, maybe she was better off then.
