Ali Lohan, Lindsay’s 13-year-old singer/actress sister, is speaking out in support of her big sister. In an exclusive email to 24/Sizzler, Ali says:
“Hi david this is ali lohan, i want everybody to know the truth out there. My mom is a single mom of four children she has always been there for us, she was my mother and father and still is. My father is telling all lies to people and saying he was such a great dad and was always there for us, my father was never there for us, My mom was always there souporting us. i think that the whole reason why my sister is upset with her self and not as cofident, is because of my dad not being around, and always staying out late and not coming home for days, he would come back home never himself, he was always was making excuses for his bad behavior . And would always blame my mother. He just wants everybody in the world knowing that he was a great dad. He wasnt that is all a lie. I just want my sister to stick throught this okay, and my mother and brothers and i are there for my sister 100% and have always been. I’ve wanted to say this for so long and get this out there and let everyone know that our family is like a normal family but of course we are put under a microscope because of lindsays fame, lindsay will be fine she is just going through a rough time right now but she will be fine. i know this for a fact. My sisters is just like a normal sister. her and I have so much in common. My mother and sister are huge insperations to me, they have made it through so much in there lives.

Sweet yes, but trying to explain Lindays behaviour as being caused by her father is stupid. I didn’t have a father figure either, and Im not drinking or driving over people. No one is perfect, but Lindsay has caused all this crap herself by not having ANY controll over herself.

I’ve seen the dad on tv quite a few times and he never claimed to be a good father. he says he made really bad mistakes and thinks he could help with Lindsay. If he has straightened out his life through a program I don’t see why he can’t have another chance. After all Lindsay is asking for another chance. This would be an opportunity to go through counseling together.

I think it’s nice that this family is so close. Everyone handles situations in their own way. I think maybe the fact that the father was there but constantly out doing his own things probably is what is making it hard on the kids. But I do believe that a person can change their own life. That’s disatrous. Never-Never-Never speak out for a family member in controversy unless asked specifically on camera. And then, you should only say “We love her and we support her”-I have a bitter taste in my mouth for women who bear children and instill their “men issues” in them. The Lohan kids are a product of both parents. Regardless of their short-comings, a child should never be encouraged to speak against their parent EVER! You can’t Love half of yourself and be successful at anything. That is what Lindsay’s problem is. She is trying to love the half of her that is from her mother while hating the other half (from father) and trying to get rid of the confusion with reckless behaviour. The best thing for Lindsay, in my opinion, is for her to be embraced by her father and to be told in a sincere manner that he is Sorry for ever letting his poor judgement affect their relationship. He is Sorry for dis-respecting her mom, in private and in public and he is sorry for trying to make money off of her. They should talk about their feelings and move on. Dina should do the same. Lindsay and the other kids will always have an issue because the parents appear to be too selfish to get over themselves. Saw this kid in Us weekly recently. Thirteen years old and she has a completely shaved pubic region. Her mom (aging ***** that she is…) has her wearing a bikini bottom with a one inch-wide swath of fabric doubling as a crotch. Hardley adequate. I guess her pandering mom doesn’t care if pedophiles are whacking on her kid’s pictures.

Emily, I care that a 13 year old cannot spell. In your opinion, what’s the proper age a kid should be able to properly spell? Do you realize a lack of accurate spelling is an indicator that one does not read much? It’s imperative to be well read in order that you not only are able to communicate how you feel verbally, but on paper as well. Poor articulation, verbal or written, should be discouraged in everyone. Until we raise the standards for everyone and make them non-negotiable, we will always have mediocrity. Michael Jackson, at one time, wrote like a second grader and he was in his 30’s! I don’t want to get on a soap box here, but look around you-there are 16 year olds who can’t count money back to you and 20 year olds who can’t comprehend written instructions. It’s not acceptable for anyone, I don’t care who it is. The one thing we can’t “do-over” is parenting, so it’s very very important to try to to do a good job even though we know we will come up short in some way.

I saw Daddy Lohan on Hannity & Colmes last night. Prison has changed him in a big way. He’s obviously turned gay while incarcerated.
