Shannon Funk: Britney’s Fired Assistant
Britney Spears pulled the plug yesterday on her latest blonde, Shannon Funk.
“Britney felt a lot of her recent troubles started and stopped with Shannon,” an insider close to Britney tells Life & Style. “Britney thought she was talking badly about her. She was very rude and Britney felt she was letting business emails fall by the wayside.”
Britney fired assistant/cousin Alli Sims last month. She’s been going through assistants like nothing!

i think britney was dating her. i don’t think she was her assistant. And the girl never really acted like her assistant.
I hope and pray that her next assistant can be someone who will give her unconditional LOVE and understand what she is going through. Someone who understand why she is behaving in such a way. Someone whom she can trust and help her get through these tough times. Girl, I am one of those crazy fans who still believe in you. Who have faith in YOU. We understand what you are going through. We know that you are trying to do the right things but sometimes what you thought was GOOD for you is not GOOD for other people, People who continue to judge you. Seems like they never get tired criticizing you. Without knowing what you are feeling and going through. Experiences is what molds a character and attitudes. And you are an extra ordinary girl who had experience a lot. Right now, you felt that you don’t know who you can trust because you don’t know what other people’s motives by being around you. Keep praying girl and your fans still cares for you and praying for you. God is the only one you can TRUST and He will lead you the way. You are a smart girl. You can do it without them.

Funk? Really? She must have picked that name in the ’70s when the word ‘funk’ had something to do with music. Has anyone told her that ‘funk’ means something completely different these days?

She’s not a therapist, a friend, a child-care expert, a support system or any of that other s.h.i.t. An assistant helps sync up your blackberry, manages your appointments, tasks, and schedule, maintains and manages contact databases and acts as a liason between the Boss and the rest of the staff. Crazy bosses who cross that line lose competent assistants and get stuck with mentally deficient sycophants.

call a reputable employment agency and find a qualified assistant! Assistants are NOT paid friends. A good one will help Britney a lot.
Britney should hire an experienced assistant. Oh yeah, one problem——-they probably don’t want to work for a nutcase like Britney. Part of Britneys’ problem is that she thinks she knows everything and doesn’t want to hear advice. One mark of some brains is knowing what you don’t know and getting the right people to help you.
Look at Angelina Jolie, From all accounts she’s a pretty serious nutcase herself, but she’s hired the right people to help her have the image she wants in Hollywood. They protect her from the worst part of her weirdness. Same with Tom Cruise.
But perhaps Britney has EXACTLY the image she wants. God isn’t that a scary thought?????????

I am praying for her. She needs help; she is being hounded mercilessly by the press. K-Fed married her because she was his cash cow. We do not know the private details as to what creepy things K-Fed may have done to her emotionally, physically and sexually to help create her meltdown.
I believe that she does not have a friend in the world save for her immediate family; they would love her for her.
The others who she employs or hangs with are jealous of her money and will take it without conscience.
I shudder to think that Britney could end up like Marilyn Monroe (drug providers, false friends and users) or Anna Nicole Smith (drug providers, false friends and users) or Princess Diana (paparazzi, false friends, users and being hounded) - if she has no caring intervention given to her. People who used and enabled these three (now dead) women were without a soul. All they cared about was what they could get out of these poor women. Could someone (like perhaps Oprah) help her privately and personally without any fanfare or paparazzi involvement?
I feel for her. She is lost - but she could find herself.
shannon funk is just as retarded as britney spears. i grew up with her - and she got me expelled from highschool because i laughed after the kid sitting in front of me in math class made fun of her nasty ass synthetic hair extensions. ****** cry baby.

I feel so bad for her. She can’t go anywhere without 50 paps pushing their way right in her face. Yes, she is a public figure. But she doesn’t deserve the harrassment she has to endure. People think it is their right to know every step she makes and it’s just not. It’s wrong for these people to do what they are doing to her.
The media can make anyone look however they want when they have pictures of every move someone makes. If they want to make her look bad they will. I guarantee if she got all made up and looked great all the time they would not be painting this awful picture of her. Because she doesn’t get all made up she is a trainwreck. Whatever. If she loses her kids it will be because of the paparazzi. While it may be in the kids best interest, it is a crying shame because I do believe she is a good mother.
