The Joker Ready to Slice Maggie Up

I’m happy that Heath is back in the swing of making movies after taking a break. Definitely seeing this movie. This is probably as close as a Ledger/Gyllenhaal reunion that I’ll get.

i don’t understand how this movie is going to work, because in the original batman movie with michael keaton and jack nicholson, it already explains how joker came to be… and the character certainly wasn’t young when he turned into joker. so i guess what i’m asking is, were there two jokers, or are they just creating a different story?? what is the real comic book story and who is following it??? i’m so lost… sorry….

Great to see Eric Roberts in this one too! Maggie will be a much more convincing in the role. She’s a super actress. So nice to see that Holmes will not be back in this one. When my husband and I saw BB, we didn’t even know who Holmes was. I remember both of us wondering how in the world she got the role.

The people booooed the trailer before the Simpsons. I only like Caine,Freeman and Oldman in this movie.Ledger and Maggie will water it down.

Jokeback Joker is talentless. His Joker wont hold a candle to classic Jack and the voice of Mark Hammil. I agree his Joker voice sounds so forced and sounds like a hillbilly….the Dawes role is a waste obviously a damsel in distress and among the Joker’s casualties. Bruce Wayne in love with Maggie Gyllenhaal. I will buy that if Im drunk. It will be alright but a crowded cast also means some actors will only do filler tasks. 2008 belongs to Indy 4,Iron Man,Narnia and Bond 22.

Maggie is a great actor

I like Bale as Batman but he’s second best after Val Kilmer. If Kilmer has the wiser team of WB and Nolan he will easily whopped the asses of the other actors.

I also have a problem with Bale’s Batman voice reminding me of Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry.The best Batman voice is Kevin Conroy’s.

Michael Keaton had the best Batman voice. And George Clooney was the worst Batman EVER. Lol

Superman Returns wasn’t that good because of ONE perseon, ONE person alone ruined that film… And that’s Bosworth, Kate Bosworth!

Orlando Bloom would of been a better Lois Lane than her!

Don’t they have enough villains in Batman? … Just stay away from the ones, already appeared in the films!
Heath Ledger as Joker? Come on! … Even the seventy-year-old Nicholson would be a better choice.

Jack was so annoying and over the top. He stole the show from Batman.
I question Heath because I saw his films 10 things I hate about you,Knight’s Tale,Casanova,Patriot and nothing special about him.
Worst he tried to be Johnny Depp aka Jack Sparrow in Brother’s Grimm.
Now he’s top notch because he played a gay character opposite Jake Gyllenhaal? Other actors played gay roles too like Caine and Bale etc—

I like the cartoons Joker better than Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.

Sorry but Katie leaps and bounds than Maggie and she is beautiful to look at so Im against this Rachel switch. I had no idea one is considered talented by being a pornstar like Gyllenhaal. I will reserve my judgement on Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Oh please.. Sherrybaby and Secretary beat the living crap out of Katie’s blip acting skills in Thank you for Smoking and Batman Begins.

Katie is pathetic. And she decided to ditch this series(Tom said no sex scenes) and now she is doing that ridiculous “comedy” with Latifah about a bank heist. Good career move Katie. Why even bother pretending you give a **** about anything but masking Tom’s royal gayness!?

Katie was believable in BB and she has real sparks with Bale.

I saw the Simpsons today so the TDK teaser was there. Ledger Joker sounds like Beetlejuice or Billy Bob Thorton. Meh.

Katie worked for me in Batman. Maggie is sooooo not Batman’s gal.
She is fug and old before her time. She’s not all that great of an actress and she is a Bi###.

Maggie deserves to be hated and dying in the hands of the Joker when she is so full of herself and for saying America deserves what happened in 9/11.

Anyone who actually reads Batman comics hated Jack Nicholson’s Joker… cause it was just Jack in a clown costumn and not the Joker at all. (where was his motivation for becomign the Joker? Sure he fell into chemicals, but why go mad in that particular way?). And you guys who dis Heath and Maggies seam to be purposefully choosing their worst films as examples of their acting skills. I admit Patriot, Knights Tale & Ten Things I Hate about You were weak, but watch Lords of Dogtown or Candy or even Two Hands and see what range Ledger is capable of. I think he’ll rule the role. Also to critism that the makeup looks likes the crow or itci the killer pr even beetlejuice… well those respective movies clearly borrowed heavily on the joker for inspiration for their respective looks, so its the other way round folks.
