The Joker Ready to Slice Maggie Up
The Joker (Heath Ledger) prepares to cut up the face of D.A. Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal) in the The Dark Knight, the latest installment of the Batman movie series directed by Christopher Nolan.
The Dark Knight is set for a July 18, 2008 release. Why must we wait so longggggg???

I think Rachel Dawes can be a good character with an actor who will be willing to play opposites. Maggie will place the subtle ferocity in trying to convince Bruce to be the moral one whereas Katie Holmes played it sweet good girl and made me want to punch her.

Im sure heath will do a good job as the joker, but, jack nicholson is the best joker to me. damn he kicked ass.
last weekend they showed all the batman movies, my favs are with michael keaton on it.
Jack was so annoying and over the top. He stole the show from Batman.
I question Heath because I saw his films 10 things I hate about you,Knight’s Tale,Casanova,Patriot and nothing special about him.
Worst he tried to be Johnny Depp aka Jack Sparrow in Brother’s Grimm.
Now he’s top notch because he played a gay character opposite Jake Gyllenhaal? Other actors played gay roles too like Caine and Bale etc—
I’d pick Katie any day over Maggie. This was a misfire and its like the Darrin syndrome of recasts. Nothing beats the original.
I like the cartoons Joker better than Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.

Can’t wait for this movie too and Robert Downey in Iron Man. Im worried about Ledger. Never been a fan of Maggie the actress and person.
So now its a given either Rachel is damsel in distress part 2(yawwnnn) kidnap or killed by the Joker. What happened to Mysterious Nolan not giving away anything?
Sorry but Katie leaps and bounds than Maggie and she is beautiful to look at so Im against this Rachel switch. I had no idea one is considered talented by being a pornstar like Gyllenhaal. I will reserve my judgement on Heath Ledger as the Joker.
Heath will do a better job than Jack Nicholson.

Still looks like the Crow. He can be on top of Jake but he can never top Jack’s Joker. Im opposed to HL because Crispin Glover deserves this role. Yikkkes on Maggie. I know many people will be delighted to see this American hater die on the bigscreen. Not much talent and she is ugly(ugly on the inside too). Looks like overinflated ego Maggie strikes again this time she is dissing Katie Holmes.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is AWESOME and a very sexy actress when she wants to be. She doesn’t go flaunting herself all the time, but she has a great body. Not understanding all the hate. Go rent Sherrybaby and learn about acting.
Katie Holmes was a huge mistake. Maggie will be so much better.

Katie is pathetic. And she decided to ditch this series(Tom said no sex scenes) and now she is doing that ridiculous “comedy” with Latifah about a bank heist. Good career move Katie. Why even bother pretending you give a **** about anything but masking Tom’s royal gayness!?
Huh! I’m aith you 100%..Even though Tom decided Katie couldn’t do it, she probably would not have got the role in DK anyway. I heard that she ran off with Cruise halfway through the promotion of BB and didn’t fulfill her obligations. She is very immature. The only roles that she will in the future are the ones that Tom buys for her.

Katie was believable in BB and she has real sparks with Bale.

Katie is so riveting and all around from Singing Detective,Pieces of April,The Gift,Wonder Boys,Go,Thank you for Smoking. Top of that Katie has class unlike Maggie. Good for Katie for not trash talking back the way Maggie does. Maggie is not a lady and Katie will rise above her insults.
I saw the Simpsons today so the TDK teaser was there. Ledger Joker sounds like Beetlejuice or Billy Bob Thorton. Meh.
Katie worked for me in Batman. Maggie is sooooo not Batman’s gal.
She is fug and old before her time. She’s not all that great of an actress and she is a Bi###.
Heath Ledger and Maggie should not be part of TDK.
