Private Practice star Kate Walsh gets goofy at the 2007 Summer TCAs for ABC held at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“We do see Addison tender her resignation to Richard in the first episode of Private Practice,” creator Shonda Rhimes (pictured below sitting next to Kate) said at the TCAs.
The redheaded beauty slipped into sexy strapless pale pink dress by Dina Bar-El for the all-star party following the Television Critics Association Press Tour, which was also held at the same venue. Below, she’s posing with Anne Sweeney, President of the Disney-ABC Television group.

All you see, except for the hair color, is natural, not scalpel enhanced, or padded, and comes with a good working brain. If I were prone to envy, I would hate her too.
That so many care to talk bad of her is just a sign that her show will be a hit, and that she’s a star. All normal.

Great pics. KW is certainly the most beautiful & gorgeous of the Greys cast. Tall, redhead, long legs & with classic bone structure. I read one newspaper article that compared her looks to the great movie stars of the 40s - Lauren Bacall etc - and I agree. Classic beauty.
If you don’t like her, don’t bother commenting. I’ll think you’ll find that the vast majority do - the fact that she was picked for the spin-off speaks volumes.
And Greys has already jumped the shark. PP will be fresh, new & grown-up as Shonda Rhimes said “More grownup, more like a family than like a group of squabbling interns.” Yay !
She looks beautiful! She has a great body and I’m jealous of her skin. I love that she is relaxed and not afraid to be goofy, but is still so classy. She just looks so beautiful and happy. I wish her the best of luck on her new show!
Sexy sexy. I hate that she’s leaving Grey’s (best thing on that show) and I hated the pilot, but she is still the sexiest woman alive. And I love how she always seems so happy. I love it.

I didn’t even get the chance to watch it really, but from what I hear you all think it sucks, well I don’t give a **** cuz it’s Kate and Kate is a wonderful actress if you’d take the time to see some of her other work she is really great, just undiscovered and underrated… there is a huge difference between being a bad actress and an undiscovred talent… What I did see of it she was a little off balance but that’s how it is supposed to be when you go somewhere new its like moving to some place where you only know a select few people there and no one else. She was dumbed down of course because she was on her way to an emotional breakdown and if you watched Grey’s at all you’d knwo that was going to happen eventually with all the **** they put poor Addison through. It’s calle dbeing compassionate and understanding this is her first starring role where she is the main focus all the time… she hasn’t had experience with that yet. Give her time i am sure she will adapt to it and get the show rolling well. It may not be as good as Grey’s but there really is a good cast. Besides if you really haven’t seen what the show is going to be like, why judge it? You have only seen the pilot episode and sometime’s pilots suck. So give it and her a chance you my find your opinions change… And for those of you who think she is self centered and self absorbed and all that jazz seriously get alife, she is a celeb, it’s their nature for one… two she doesn;t know what to do with all this new found “fame” and said so herself. She is very excited yes but she has never had this kind of exposure before she’s new to it… Give her an effing break. She deserves it not your trashy comments.

People like to compare, we like standards, benchmarking and labels that’s why, it can’t be helped. It doesn’t matter if they actually are similar or not, we’ll still find a way to compare them and judge them. It’s bad but it’s reality.

It is her show. So of course she is promoting it! She is the star so she has to be at the TCA Press Tour Panel for her show! That is not attention seeking that is doing her job.
