Private Practice star Kate Walsh gets goofy at the 2007 Summer TCAs for ABC held at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“We do see Addison tender her resignation to Richard in the first episode of Private Practice,” creator Shonda Rhimes (pictured below sitting next to Kate) said at the TCAs.
The redheaded beauty slipped into sexy strapless pale pink dress by Dina Bar-El for the all-star party following the Television Critics Association Press Tour, which was also held at the same venue. Below, she’s posing with Anne Sweeney, President of the Disney-ABC Television group.

Not everyone hated the spin-off pilot. Only those hated the fact that attention was focused away from Greys & their precious teenage Merder “tru luv”.
Kate has been stealing scenes in Greys for so long now. She’s proved herself more than capable as a leading lady & certainly is 100 times more charismatic than Ellen Pompeo.
Shondra Rhimes has said herself that PP is more grown-up & will be lighter & funnier than Greys, which can only be a plus.

I like Kate, Amy and some others from Private Practice but honestly I don’t think that it was a good idea. I don’t believe it will succeed. I hope I am wrong.
