Nicole Richie Gets FOUR Days in Jail
Not-so-pregnant-looking Nicole Richie (due in January) arrives in style at the courthouse in Glendale, Calif. on the arm of boyfriend Joel Madden on Friday. But it does look like she’s gained weight!
Nicole, 25, pleaded not guilty in February to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
UPDATE: Nicole was sentenced to serve four days in County Jail before September 28, according to TMZ. She served six hours in jail after getting arrested, so she got credit for a fifth day. Nicole was also put on three years probation, fined $2,048 and ordered to 21 days at an alcohol education course.

Nicole got four days in total..she got credit for the fifth day because of the six hrs she spent in custody when she was arrested.
At least she’s owning up to what she did and isn’t trying to hide behind excuses

21 days of alcohol rehab. She wasn’t under the influence of alcohol. She told th cops on the spot she had smoked marijuana and taken vicoden, but no alcohol. She was the one whose licence was not suspended because her breathalyzer test was clean. Why sentense her to alcohol rehab?
Will she get two days off the four for good behaviour?

Nicole got busted for a DUI
Paris got busted for a DUI, then busted for driving on a suspended drivers licence - twice.
Lohan got bust for a DUI and crashing her car, then busted for DUI and driving on a suspended drivers licence.
All Three had drugs on them.
The one that will show just how much the legal system sucks is if Lohan get less then 6 months in jail!!!!!

the hilton **** girl had a more harsh sentence because her license was suspended when she was cought driving drunk.I don’t think nicole had a suspended license….that is a felony misdimener i think….

Did the judge step her back or has she/he allowed Richie time to surrender herself? The alcohol program is probably really substance abuse counseling/education. Not just alcohol can be abused, as I’m sure you know. Drugs and prescribed medication are included.

Nicole left the court house with head up high and no crying. The opposite of Paris. I wonder what Lohan will do, blame the Judge??
56. She left the court house with her “head held high and no crying” simply because Paris cleared the way for her. Paris got 25 days more in the slammer and Nicole will be pampered for four days because she’s pregnant!
Hopefully, she’s been in a solid recovery program these past several months in preparation of her court date. If she is pregnant, my advice to her is “put away those tottering high heels” until her child is about four years of age! At her present weight, she could do a lot of damage to her pregnancy with a severe fall!
To the person who criticized her companion, if he’s a douche she must be, also, as “like attracts like”; hopefully, neither of them are that bad!

Paris drove TWICE on a SUSPENDED license, while still under probation. Lied to the cops about it. Denied it, blamed others, tried to get out of it, and showed she hadn’t learned anything. That’s why she got more days, because she could not be trusted and because she had done driven TWICE on a suspended license, and DRUNK the last time. She is still lying, still in denial over her problems or what she did wrong.
Nicole drove once, not suspended license but still on probation. Immediately owned up to it, turned herself in, admitted it was wrong and did what needed to be done to rectify the mistakes, shows remorse and awareness of the seriousness of what she did.
HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two. The same people who think she deserves the same sentence as Paris are the same idiots blogging that still think she’s skinny. HELLLOOOOO — that fad of picking on her weight is a year old. She’s at a normal weight now for her build — not if you are a fatty who thinks size 14 is normal - but normal for someone not carrying around too many SuperSized meals. Get over it — they don’t jail people for being thinner than you!
