Johnny Depp is Sweeney Todd

Johnny Depp teams up with Tim Burton again for the silver-screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical thriller Sweeney Todd.

Other stars in the film include Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter.

That poster is AWESOME. It’s just brilliant. I hope the movie is as good as the impression the poster gives. To say it looks like Edward Scissorhands all over again based on the poster and nothing at all of Sweeney Todd is about, is rather odd and shallow.

I may be in the minority but why team up with Tim Burton again?
I only enjoy a handful films by Burton.

This may be another lackluster movie. That Charlie factory film could not compare to the original one.

I hope he’s done with the Pirates franchise. The botched up job on part 3 is enough for him to see that.
