“The Golden Compass” Comic-Con Footage

Here is 5-minutes worth of footage from The Golden Compass, the forthcoming film based upon Northern Lights, the first novel in Philip Pullman’s trilogy His Dark Materials.

Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig plays the deliciously evil Marisa Coulter and Lord Asriel. Watch the video below!!

The Golden Compass is set for a wicked release date of Dec. 7.

isn’t the first book also called “the golden compass”? where did you get “northern lights” from?

Eh. I don’t know. I’m a fantasy fan, never read these books but have been hearing about this movie and wanted to check out the trailer. It seems sort of interesting, but sort of not. I frankly think they did a bad job with the trailer. I came away from this with no clear idea of the story at all. Love Nicole, she’ll be the best thing in it. And the bear was cool. They need to rework that trailer. As of now I’m on the fence about this.

Nic looks fantastic! She’s the author’s #1 choice to play Mrs. Coulter. She’s perfect for this role. I’m looking forward to see this film.

Never read the story but the movie looks pretty good.
I might go see it.
Nicole needs to make more movies though…. :(
It’s getting kinda boring that all my favorite actors and actresses aren’t making enough movies now…
