Jennifer Garner’s Farmer’s Market Meal
Jennifer Garner does her weekly shopping at the Brentwood Farmer’s Market with a gal pal and 19-month-old daughter Violet on Sunday.
Jennifer bought lots of fresh fruit and vegtables — broccoli, strawberries and cantaloupe — and tested a juicy plum before handing it to baby Violet.
Before heading home, the former Alias star picked up a bouquet of flowers.

Im so sick of seeing this ugly media *****,who made her the poster mom! but the media trying to sell her image that is why you see her in public parks ect.who really gives a **** but jen’s die hard fans,of all the great old moms in hollyweird why is she the super mom there’s plenty of them but they prefer not to ***** their kid for publicity.It’s all very calculating. I can´t understand the JG thing either.all ppl here and on other sites copare her to britney spears.They say thigs like´:”take an example,britney!” and stuff like that!but nobody compares here to the mothers at here age like jada,courteney cox etc. do you see a celeb baby as often as poor,little Violet?No,you don´t!She loves getting photographed that is a fact.other mothers try to protect their children and JG is pimping Violet around because that´s the only thing why she gets her photos.she´s so annoying and always happy when she sees the paps.and don´t come now with those silly arguments,like jen is living her life normally….. because she´s just another celeb like the others,too.she´s living in LA,so IF she would love to live a normal life,there are 1000000 places,which are as beautiful as LA,where this fugly **** could live.
I think that if we saw Jen and Violet at parks, it’s because Violet love to go there and play with other childrens. Why should Jen keep Violet at home and alone ? So stop saying mean things like that because you don’t know anything. Vioet is beautifull and I love seing her with Jen, who is beautifull too. If you don’t want to look at them, don’t watch the pictures, but let us enjoy to see Violet and Jen.

It’s funny how Matt Damon and his wife always go out with each other to dinner and events, but Affleck can’t even bare to be seen with his wife unless it’s for a family outing photo op. Other than that, they never seem to just hang out together hand in hand. It’s weird.

there is something about them that strikes me as so fake. Granted, they don’t have to prove anything to anyone about their life but Ben and Jen look like they live two different lives even when they are on vacation together.
And it does look like she plays up the perfect mom role for the media. How does the paparazzi always know where she is? She’s not a world famous celebrity. Even Reese Witherspoon lives in Brentwood and you don’t see her everytime she goes out.
Like others have said, stop comparing her to Britney. I’m not defending that person’s antics but she has had a very different life than Jen Garner. Garner is also way older than Britney.
If you want to compare her and say she is such a wonderful mother compared to the rest, then compare her to CZJ, Reese Witherspoon, Gwen Stefani, Rachel Weiz, and others.

No they wouldn’t they wouldn’t want to get sued, or have to ask the parents for permission - too much trouble when the only child people are interested in is Violet. I have seen her playing with other children on a video at another site, but the photographers made sure they didn’t show the other kids too closely.It was creepy the way they were lurking with their long lenses, it was obviously nobody knew their pictures were being taken.

Just because you dislike someone does not mean you are jealous of them. It means you dislike them.
I’m not spiteful and jealous of Garner. She’s not really that attractive to me and I don’t admire the relationship she has with Affleck. I think she’s in training to be a single mom.
When did Britney Spears become the standard of all hollywood motherhood? She’s one mother in hollywood, but not the standard, there are many other celeb moms who parent just as well and better than Garner. Garner is a smother to me, not a mother, she funnels all of her energy into her daughter because she doesn’t have much of a marriage. Her relationship lacks balance, and I definitely don’t want what she has at all.
Why should anyone compare Garner to Britney Spears? I don’t want Britney to parent the way Garner does at all. There are so many other good examples out there. Spears should call Reese Witherspoon or Jada Pinkett, they seem to know how to balance a ton better than Garner. They still dress well, Pinkett anyway still has a good relationship with Will Smith, they still have a life outside of their kids, but seem to love them completely. Follow them Britney they are a lot better examples.
TO dislike someone you don’t even know is insane. Get some help for your mental disability. Please don’t pass it on to your child(ren) if you are fortunate enough to have any. What has this woman done to you sickos? Get some professional help. If you can’t find anything remotely likable about Jennifer, Ben or Violet…Stay the hell away from her site. Why do Garner fans only exist on one extreme or the other? Who said Garfleck had to make out? Matt Damon wasn’t making out with his wife Lucianna, but I could still sense the obvious affection and love between them. There is a middle ground and that’s what I’m looking for with Garfleck, sadly they exist on the low end of the love spectrum.
I was wondering something: whenever I buy produce, I wash it first. Is it weird to anyone else that they just pick it up and eat it? Are farmers’ markets different?

You should still wash the produce due to bacteria and the like. It’s not weird at all to wash produce before eating it. I even use a special solution to wash mine because of all the E-coli scares and such.

I find nothing wrong my statement. Overparenting is just as bad as underparenting. Garner to me lacks balance between her identity as a mom, herself, and her relationship with her husband.
I offered other examples of mothers I admire who are great mothers. They seem to retain a sense of self as well as a relationship with their spouse (well of course except for Reese Witherspoon, but divorce happens unfortunately). I admire that in them. Garner, I think she needs to learn to balance her energy.

to #51 I think its sad (perhaps you had an absent mother? Sorry) that you feel someone who is simply with her child (instead of handing her off to the nanny) and takes her places is somehow overparenting and lacks a balance with the rest of her life. I find you incredibly sad if you really believe that. She has a life outside Violet and a good relationship with her husband but has said she doesn’t have to work and it would have to be something really good to be worth it. All mothers should be that lucky. If you are not,I can certainly understand your obvious jealousy.

Do explain to me how Garfleck have such a wonderful relationship, because maybe I’m missing something. Just stumbled across this and thought I’d comment on the fact that Jennifer Garner seems like a strange target for such hatred. She’s never portrayed in a bad light, she always seems so down to earth and friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever read a negative news story about her, which seems to me that it’s because there’s simply nothing awful to write. Oh no, she took her daughter out in public. Scandal!
And perhaps if her and Ben don’t seem affectionate in public, it’s because they’re a private couple, who save their affection for when they’re alone. And before someone starts saying “well, taking Violet out in public isn’t very private”, children need to go out! And Violet always looks so happy in photos, which I’d say is a testimony to the fact that Jennifer always does the best by her, and keeps her happy.
If you’re going to attack someone, attack them for something they’ve actually done wrong. Don’t just pick lame excuses for problems with someone who rises above all the spite and falseness in that industry.
