Jimmy Fallon to Replace Conan O’Brien
Conan O’Brien will be replaced by Jimmy Fallon, if NBC has their way.
“We know him from SNL and saw what he can do on-camera and off-camera, and I think he’d be terrific,” says NBC late-night chief Rick Ludwin. I think he’s be terrific, and he’s at the top of our short list.”
Conan has less than two years left in his contact, making way for Fallon in 2009.

jimmy fallon is so incredibly annoying… nbc, dont do it!
wats wrong with all u? I know conan’s the best late night host ever! but hell be taking jay leno’s place (thank god) so conan will just be on earlier, with jimmy after. think about it would u rather have carson daly or jimmy fallon (who can do a funny-as-hell daly impression, “Im carson daly & im a big tool” lol) No one will “replace” conan, just as none can wear johnny carson’s (swami) hat… but after seeing what fallon did on snl & mtv movie awards (the skits are hilarious) I cant wait to watch fallon following conan on nbc late night tv.
bet Carson Daly is pissed that he got passed over, heh
Jimmy Fallon is astonishingly unfunny and overwhelmingly annoying. He should kill himself and save everyone the embarassment of having to digest his lame attempts at comedy, the awkward audience pauses, and the sympathy applause that follows his pathetic jokes. There is a reason NBC is the “4th network”. Mr. Fallon is symbolic of one of the biggest collapses in history of media. The executives who push Fallon should be forced to watch Fever Pitch and Taxi for all of eternity.
I loved Jimmy on SNL (but I love Conan more than anything) and was sad when he left. I’m glad they chose him to replace Conan when he replaces Jay.

I cannot believe they hired him for that job yuk!!
