Fashion Faceoff: Dolce & Gabbana Dress

Jennifer Lopez rocked out a gray Dolce & Gabbana dress on Monday’s taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (see video). The El Cantante actress paired her metallic wide corset belt (with a double-buckled closure) with Silver Kubric Indian Embroidery heels by Christian Louboutin.

Alessandra Ambrosio wore the same shirred dress to the Season 3 premiere of Entourage in Hollywood earlier this year. The Victoria’s Secret model finished off her look with matching metallic heels and handbag.

Who wore it best — JENNIFER LOPEZ or ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO?

I think Alessandra wore it best, I think that dress is made for a more slimmer woman. And Alessandra looks more apealing in it.

I really don’t care for the dress but, Alessandra is the winner! The dress is made for a very slender frame. You will hate me!! It would look fabulous on Rachel Bilson! Wink!

I personally don’t like the style of the dress. I feel that it’s not supposed to flatter any womans figure. But I must agree with the rest that Alessandra makes the dress look glamorous. With Jen Jen, you don’t even really notice the dress, it’s there and thats it. Should have chosen something either classic chic or edgy. And her stylist shouldn’t let her wear clothes that others have already worn…

Alessandra wore it better. JLo looked very uncomfortable sitting in that dress opposite Jay. For it to work better on JLo, it needed to be a bit longer to balance out the corset’s intense rigid look on her frame.

AND whoever did her hair and makeup really blew it. For someone with such gorgeous skin, her face and hair color and her eye makeup were really off and washed out the beauty of her face.
