I have a gorgeous mother (inside and out) who is the sweetest person you could ever met…so say all of my friends or people that met her from any ethnicities, any social milieus. She was raised by the sweetest grand ma you could find who died at 40 from cancer having 9 children and being lean as a young woman of 20…like my mother and my aunts…all a size 2 after 5 children (all of them) in 5 years (for my mother while in college).

Today my mum is an international official with a supermodel type kind of beauty (standing tall at 5′9″ AND 130 lbs never hit the gym since her highschool years !)light skinned, graced with an angel face and radiant smile and my father a physician who is her true coynterpaet in terms of beauty and intelligence.

Though the eldest of 5 children with young parents (mum married at 19 and having children from 20 and a half to 26, and father from 25 to 30), I was happily raised in a very close-knit joyful family and pratically raised and educated alongside my parents, having seen them between their professions as a doctor and a journalist, studying, going to college, doing stuff with 5 babies under 6 years.

Today we all are multigraduated from college (a consultant from a big five, a scientific researcher in GSK, an entrepreneur and High tech consultant and two engeneers), we all speak fluently between 3 and 6 languages and we all are very happy, seeing each other at our parent house every sunday or going to holliday with them at times wether in Paris, Firenze or Roma, Algarve (Portugal) or Harare or Kinshasa. We all are very grounded.

It’s just the love that oozes from our parents, the sweet maternal gestures have no comparison…I remembered my mother sweet kisses, angel smile and her : “je t’aime” whispered in our ears every night while in our bed, making sure we were still covered, caressing our cheeks and smiling…we were all waiting for her sweet habits before falling asleep,

I remembered my mother craddling my younger brother and missing the early college courses of Italian and her girlfriends coming every evening for feedback and teaching her the missing course while cuddling with us between books and studies…all these young ladies, black and whites were there helping her with the courses and giving her children tenderness. I remembered her taking the three older because she had an exam and couldn’t afford someone staying with us while my father was staying at the hospital and the two babies were in their kibdergarden school. We were all playing in a classroom while waiting for her then she was taking us to see a cartoon…I remembered those endless ’scrabble’ game in two languages with my parents and all of us…I remembered my brothers and sisters refering to us as bonded as the 5 fingers of the same hand, that the 7 of us were like one…

It deosn’t take the number to give love (see Celine Dion who has 13 brothers and sisters and the bond she has with all of them and their parents)…sometimes when going to third world country, you got a real meaning of what love is and mothers are often even more maternal to the extreme and loving even with a dozen children than in the Western world where some mothers are unable to love and protectt the one child they have.

UH, sorry that first picture is fug. She’s the only celeb baby that looks really cute sometimes and really odd others
and WHY do they dress her in those UGLY Amish clothes YUK!!
And that hair has got to go, it makes her look like a boy

What’s with the bottle? Haven’t they heard of sippy cups?

PR, I totally agree, no 19 month old should still have a bottle. It’s my feeling that they are trying to convince the world that this kid is younger than she really is AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER HAIR PEOPLE.

NOT NORMAL!!! No other celeb kid her age or even younger is photographed with a bottle on every outing …NONE of them. It’s staged, and it’s obvious
