Nicole Kidman Celebrates White Ribbon Day
A solo Nicole Kidman (in Prada) celebrates White Ribbon Day by attending the White Tie Dinner Fundraiser at the Sheraton on the Park hotel in Sydney, Australia on Thursday.
The event was organized to support the White Ribbon Foundation. This charity seeks to eliminate violence against women by promoting cultural change through national media campaigns and male leadership programs aimed at men and boys.

Hate the dress and shoes. Love the necklace. I like the length of her hair but it’s too bleached out now and her eyebrows are too dark. And she really does need to layoff whatever she is doing to her face.

as for how the cow looks, she may look OK in a few of the pics, but take a close look at # 7, 12, 14 and 20. If you think that skin on the upper lip looks good, you’ve got issues. It looks like it’s been injected with way too much collagen and botox. It appears extra puffy and fishlike. She needs HELP!

Man, was this the second UNIFEM event she has attended in the last year since being AmbASSador? She contributes so much. Why doesn’t she get her hands dirty, like me. I do have a life - I volunteered and painted an elderly gentleman’s house this week in 90+ degree temps. I can talk the talk, and I can walk the walk.

I worked for a major studio for a number of years. Everyone I know of who had worked with Nicole had nothing but nice things to say about her.
Nicole has been in the entertainment biz for over 20 years. The fact that she can survive that long and continues to be so in demand just proves that she’s very talented and obviously knows how to develop and maintain friendships.
It is pretty sad that people have to be mean to someone who actually did get to meet Nicole last night.
I know Daisy its pretty sad. But the poor little people have nothing better to do with there time.. Poor souls. I feel sorry for them.

She’s angry we aren’t excited that she met the Queen of the Celebrity-Crazed Aussies, the Pasty-Faced Princess, the Bitchy Botoxed Ball Buster.

Nicole has appeared in several Unifem related events since becoming its Ambassador. In addition, everytime she appears on behalf of Omega, she got Omega to make a big donation to Unifem. She herself has donated her own Omega watches for auction. In Shanghai alone, her donated watch fetched $100,000 for Unifem.
And that’s not the only charity she’s involved in. She has been a long time Ambassador for the Australian chapter of UNICEF, a long time patron of the Sydney Children’s Hospital, and has been a contributor to cancer research at UCLA. Australia has deemed her to be worthy of the country’s highest civilian honor by awarding her the Companion of the Order award.
Nicole is a great role model not just because of her film achievements but also her involvement in charitable causes.

#99 - Australia awarded Nicole with the country’s highest civilian honor for “her service to the performing arts as an acclaimed motion picture performer as well as her charity work with women, children and cancer research.” She’s a great role model!
