OlderSniff Shiloh, Smell Great
Angelina Jolie recently dropped her legal battle with a perfume-maker who plans to name a fragrance Shiloh (her daughter’s name).
According to The Washington Post, Angie filed a note with the U-S Patent and Trademark Office earlier this year.
The Israeli/French perfume-maker, Symine Salimpour, indicated she was inspired by the Hebrew meaning of Shiloh, “his gift,” and not Angie and Brad Pitt’s 13-month-old daughter.
Salimpour can now name the perfume as she pleases and has promised to donate five per cent of the profits to an Israeli organization that provides medical and educational services for disabled children.
Says Salimpour, “[The trademark battle] was just a huge misunderstanding. And besides having a baby named Shiloh — because this perfume, it is my baby — we can say we have two other things in common: We believe in human rights, and we love Brad Pitt!”

Brad, Angelina to get own Aussie stamp

Superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to join the Queen, the Pope and the nation’s sporting heroes by being immortalised in an Australia Post stamp.
The Hollywood A-List couple were featured on the cover of a recent best-selling edition of New Idea, the magazine which this week received top honours at the 10th Annual Magazine of the Year Awards.
Australia Post, as major sponsor of the awards, plans to reproduce the best-selling New Idea cover in the form of a 50c stamp.
It shows a smiling Brad and Angelina with their newborn baby girl Shiloh.
“I don’t know of any other country in the world that has ever had Brad and Angelina on a stamp,” a New Idea spokesman said.
“Whatever the case, these stamps are sure to become instantly collectable and be sought after by philatelists around the country.”

What’s especially disheartening is the fact that so many so-called ‘fans’ are breathing a sigh of relief over Cindy G.’s statement. Seriously… the story was flaming bull$h*t, just like every story that the tabloids came up with. Let’s break this down:
Brad supports Obama… based on what, pray tell? The fact that some of his former co-stars like George, Morgan Freeman, etc. support him? And, oh yeah, the weeble was at an Obama fundraiser, so a potential set-up for the ongoing storyline about how compatiable Brad and the weeble are? (Suspiciously omitted… the fact that when Brad was fully for Kerry, the weeble pulled back and waffled, like she usually does.)
Angelina supports Edwards… have no idea who Angelina supported in the past, since she never wore that on her sleeve. I suspect that Elizabeth Edwards’ cancer battle may have served as a link, since Angelina, very publicly discussed her grief about her mother’s death.
Next… the details of their conversation. It’s curious… whenever people have legitimate contact with these two, the conversations aren’t transcribed in the same fashion as this tabloid story. There is a summary of an inquiry/exchange (BA’s being lost in Spain, stopping at a coffee shop, or IHOP), description of the location visited (the chateau, the amusement park), and a description of the two of them, including their demeanor.
Next the location… this confrontation seemed to taken place in a vacuum. But the vacuum had readily available wine, I guess. So apparently, Angelina was sitting close enough to him to catch him right in the kisser. If it was a restaurant, wouldn’t a waiter or waitress offer assistance to him? And if it was at home, did this take place at the dinner table with the kids? Or were they in the living room, discussing a primary election that is how many months away? If someone witnessed this, why wasn’t there an exchange between said person and Angelina? Any human being, including someone on the payroll would’ve openned their mouth and say that her behavior was out of line. Brad seemed to disappear into the oblivion while Angelina seemed to power off. But then again, any human being with instincts would’ve excused themselves if they sensed that an argument was in the offing.
Way to go Cindy! I like her answers better when they are short and terse, that way - if a publication wants to print what she said, they will either use all of it, or none of it. Sometimes she says too much in my opinion…like ‘i told them that it wasn’t true, but they don’t listen,’ or ‘no it’s not true, they’re fine, they’re going here, here, and here,’ — uh…TMI cindy…she does better when she just calls them batsh*t crazy made up lies, and goes on about her business, that way her words aren’t twisted or ignored.

I live in Australia. I haven’t seen those new stamps yet, but it’s the picture that was on the cover, Angelina looking at Brad looking at Shiloh.
If you ask Jared to email your address to me, I’ll mail you a postcard using Brad/Angie/Shiloh stamps! I’m on holiday now and will go buy stamps later today or Monday.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Together in France
In the past couple of weeks, tabloid mags have written so much crap about Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt! They claim things are really bad between them & that they are on the verge of breaking up!
First it was that Angie’s weight loss is because of drug addiction, then Brad is pushing Angie to go to rehab! Now, it’s that the two are going to break up & that Angie somehow came to splash Brad with a glass of wine because he supports Barack Obama !!! That’s Bull****!
Well, that’s not true! Angelina & Brad are together, they’re vacationing together in France with the kids.
Brangelina were spotted the other day, Dad Brad carried Zahara, while Mom Angelina carried Shiloh … both kids in PJ’s! Cute!
So, in face of these silly rumors, Brad’s rep tells Us Weekly: “These magazines continue to write lies about our clients to sell magazines.”

A nurse does not raise a child, but you do help. The responsibilities are not the same and as a mother, you already know this. Why you felt compelled to list your accomplishments was not only irrevelant but unnecessary. Why you felt the need to compare or validate yourself on a blog remains questionable. Specifically, I am pointing out wicked behavior as evidenced in the derogatory choice of words used to describe, or rather, defame someone’s character, providing false witness to events in which you were not present, that are actually spawned by speculation from…tabloids?!?!?!
Make no mistake, your comments exemplify “wicked” behavior. As I mentioned earlier, you are not the only one. Our response to your comments are no different than your response to anyone who would dare defame your daughters in any way. There will always exist reasons why someone will feel negative towards another human being. Once we justify those actions, we have just given ourselves the green light to treat that person in an ugly way. But then, we compromise our own character in doing so.

It is always a pleasure posting on this site, because most of you are just as confused as Angelina have come to be. She once was a fantastic actress, and humanitarian, however, she let people like some of you go to her head. Now she is just as lost as she was when she was in that Psych hospital trying to get BBT to be with her. It worked, but only for a minute. Brad will do the same as BBT.
