Sniff Shiloh, Smell Great

Angelina Jolie recently dropped her legal battle with a perfume-maker who plans to name a fragrance Shiloh (her daughter’s name).

According to The Washington Post, Angie filed a note with the U-S Patent and Trademark Office earlier this year.

The Israeli/French perfume-maker, Symine Salimpour, indicated she was inspired by the Hebrew meaning of Shiloh, “his gift,” and not Angie and Brad Pitt’s 13-month-old daughter.

Salimpour can now name the perfume as she pleases and has promised to donate five per cent of the profits to an Israeli organization that provides medical and educational services for disabled children.

Says Salimpour, “[The trademark battle] was just a huge misunderstanding. And besides having a baby named Shiloh — because this perfume, it is my baby — we can say we have two other things in common: We believe in human rights, and we love Brad Pitt!”

How about the Jolie Pitt Board?

But I would prefer if it’s a longtime regular who started this board. No offense but there are many haters who pretend to be fans when they are really haters. You could tell by their posts. I would hate to join a board started by an undercover hater.

Hiya Meli, Ohhh my vacation was great but I missed all of you and reading about my beloved family on regular basis, but the Turkish papers covered the highlights almost every other day. Geez I even read about the GP supposed movie and Jane Pitt visit to you know who in Turkey What can I say everyone inthe WORLD loves or at least knows and is interested about eveything this family does I am so glad they are on a well deserved vacation! How have you been Meli?

I’m glad you kept in touch with everything that had to do with our favorite family while you were away .It’s true that the whole world is interested in them,mostly in a positive way.The papers here in Greece write about them all the time as well.

To everyone who hates her-

I find it funny how no one mentioned that she dropped the charges, and now they’re giving some of the money to a charity.

I also laughed out loud when I read that she hated her own daughter “because she is white”. Hating other races is extremely ignorant and close-minded, but I’ve never even heard of someone hating their own race.

And how many of you have done a quarter of the humanitarian things she has done? I think once you do more than she has done, then you can. [although you still couldn't insult her because you don't know her personally]. Like for example Bono, I don’t care for his music but I respect him because of all of his charitable work.

Keep these things in mind next time you decide to try to put someone down. [However it's not like she reads these, and if she even did, you think she would care?]

Angelina sued a person who she thought was using her daughter to make money. When it came out that this perfume and the name of it being Shiloh was a 2 year project, Angelina dropped legal action.

And now it is over!!

I would really laugh at all the haters if Angelina and Symine were photograph together at some event for children.

Most trolls and anti-Angie seem to live their lives waiting for her to commit some horrendous mistakes in order to pile on her. Her not loving her own daughter is just one of the many delusions they have harbored all because of their envy and jealousy of the other kids. These haters can’t stand it that Mad, Zee and Pax are living so well in the lap of luxury while they have to struggle daily with their mundane,miserable lives.

It’s not that they care about Shiloh. It’s already a given that a mother loves her own child. They just want something to use as a weapon in order to bash Angie.

Brad and Angie sighting on july 29, 2007.

I am now in Aix en Provance at language school which is good but challenging. Not much to report as yet apart from my major celebrity sighting yesterday - we were having lunch at a restaurant close to our school and the waitress told us that brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie & Shiloh were at the pattiserie next door. Of course I had to check it out so went & bought something & it was indeed them!!! She is quite skinny & was waeqring a black dress & sunnies, and he had a hat & sunnies on. The baby is gorgeous (of course) and

interstingly they were alone - no body guards or paparazzi. For this reason I didnt take any photos. Its interesting tho - if they can get time alone it does mean that it IS possible to get away from cameras, but maybe its just in France. Anyway, we saw them pack up their car & drive away, just like any other family. And yes it was them, I saw her tattoos & heard her speak to Shiloh.

I will write when again I have more news!!

She spends time with all of her children. It\’s just with Shiloh she can\’t take her out much in places like NYC without crazy people yelling/clapping/cheering for them. They have to go to France just so they can show shiloh outside.

Meli, it was hot but thank God Bodrum is not humid so it was fine plus I have AC but we had many forest fires which is a shame and most of them are set on purpose to clear land for more hotels etc. I did watch it on the news how hot it was in Greece. You guys had lots of forest fires too right? I heard that the polution in Athens was pretty bad. I hope it will cool off soon! Hey I am not kidding people just love this family all over the world it is amazing. I took many of my “collection” of magazines to Turkey with me, some folks on the plane going and coming back started a convo regarding them when they saw the magz I was reading :lol:
