Superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to join the Queen, the Pope and the nation’s sporting heroes by being immortalised in an Australia Post stamp.

The Hollywood A-List couple were featured on the cover of a recent best-selling edition of New Idea, the magazine which this week received top honours at the 10th Annual Magazine of the Year Awards.
Australia Post, as major sponsor of the awards, plans to reproduce the

best-selling New Idea cover in the form of a 50c stamp.
It shows a smiling Brad and Angelina with their newborn baby girl Shiloh.
“I don’t know of any other country in the world that has ever had Brad and Angelina on a stamp,” a New Idea spokesman said.
“Whatever the case, these stamps are sure to become instantly collectable and be sought after by philatelists around the country.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie chat briefly with their flight crew on Tuesday as their family vacations in Angouleme, France.

Clad in cute jammies, Zahara, 2, was carried by good dad Brad. Rocking equally cute pajamas, Shiloh, 14 months, was held by Momgelina.

There have been rumors upon rumors about Brad and Angelina’s supposed breakup. Not surprisingly, Brad’s rep tells Us Weekly, “These magazines continue to write lies about our clients to sell magazines.”

Really?? My best love story ever is my parents. 55 years of marriage when my dad lost his battle to colon cancer in 2004. My parents were in love more then anyother people I have ever met. My mom is doing ok but, misses my dad everyday. They use to look at each other the way Angelina and Brad now look at each other. Amore!! Some day I will have it, I hope. There is always HOPE!!

Re: the tabs. I don’s know how many of you are familiar with this but when I was very young, my mom used to read these kind of illustrated stories from France that were like soap operas. They were formated like comic books but instead of drawings, they used photographs of real people (usually struggling actors). They have the speech and thought bubbles like a comic book but with pictures. They came out weekly. That’s what the tabloids mean to me now. They take pictures and create their own stories around them, like these comic books. If they passed themselves off as these, it would be one thing but they try to fool the public by insinuating that what they print is truth.

Its good to see my favorite celeb couple again. Fans should not worry when they hear break-up rumors about brangelina, they have a tight bond together and whatever issues they deal with, It’s pretty obvious they put their family first…I’m sure they have arguments like the rest of us, but they (my opinion) are meant to be toghether (they are each other’s destiny) :)

As discussed yesterday, bottom feeding rags sell more copies by selling Pitt strife…and they will continue to do so for the gullible Jolie-hating MiniVan Majority. But also as discussed yesterday, the Pitts are not splitting – confirmed today by their reps to Us Weekly. No doubt, Brad and Angelina have used and played the press in the past for their own purposes…this time may be no different. But given that their finances, their philanthropy, and of course their children are binding them together, expectations of an imminent break-up were clearly absurd.

Here they are two days ago, still on vacay in France, heading for somewhere else with the girls in their arms. You will note, Angelina is holding the Chosen One which will still likely do nothing to quell those ridiculous allegations that she hates her biological baby.

As for romantic discord, again the Pitts are committed. Though they may be suffering a bit from tabloid attacks, I continue to hear that their love is strong. There is however some word that professionally, Angelina might be in a bit of a spot. Filming on Wanted has been delayed, in part due to production issues, in part as a result of the Pitt travels. They are so far behind schedule though that other projects have been pushed back too…namely Angie’s next with Clint Eastwood directing. Word is, Clint is getting more frustrated every day. Clint doesn’t like to be kept waiting. Will keep you posted.

It should be said that according to Just Jared…..

JJ’s the closest thing we have online to the Hollywood Reporter.

He gets up to the minute trailers and clips.

The other blogs are like tabloids.

Yes,you heard right.Fortunately the last few days the heat is bearable and the forest fires are under control,but the whole July was like hell!We had temperatures of 45 to 47 for about 15 days and in the same time we had fires all over the country.The forest damage is really heart breaking.

Cindy kept silent, it was Huvane that said, the stories of them breaking up were rubbish, that they were together, etc. Only to have them breakup less than 3 weeks later. Cindy is the one that released the breakup statement, but, she let Huvane suffer from his foot in mouth disease at the end. LOL.

Hey, he’s just following his client’s lead. Let’s see, Aniston with Vaughn telling her bestest pal Oprah no, no, she and Vaughn hadn’t broken up, implying things were good, when they weren’t. Admitting to a breakup ONLY after Vaughn was so desperate to get caught, he got caught with a college co-ed. He wanted out so badly he got caught.

When Brad and Angelina start spending more than a few days apart on a consistent basis, then the rumors might have some truth to them.

It has been around 97F (36C) here but we have thunder showers so it cools off. We also had a couple forest fires but not real bad ones. We had some really bad ones a couple of years ago. A friend of mine lost there house but, everyone in the family was ok.

It is actually true you guys. They will split soon. Just waiting until all the children issues, who will have who, are ironed out. They are NOT doing well and that is why the magazines have the stories. Keep in mind, every story in all these magazines, except of course enquirer, globe, those kind, is 90% atleast true. They don’t make it all up. They just want different things is all. They don’t hate each other anddd Brad will still raise all those kids no matter the split. Count on the reps making the statement long before the holidays even. How do I know this you ask, my brother works in Hollywood and works with the publicists, that is why Brangelina has not sued the ‘tabloids’ yet. They can’t. So, Brangelina will not make it, but the kids will be fine. Angie can go on, ruining marriages and relationships and Brad can continue to be boring. News is too scandalous for Americans: survey

Americans blame the media for the saturation of celebrity coverage on TV.

A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center for People & the Press said Thursday that 87% of respondents believe celebrity scandals get way too much ink and airtime. Only 8% think the media get the balance between celebrity and serious news right, while 2% told the surveyors that there wasn’t enough celebrity scandal coverage.

There’s been no shortage of scandals to report on in 2007, from the death of Anna Nicole Smith and the subsequent custody battle over her infant daughter to the jail saga of heiress Paris Hilton. Despite the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and a presidential campaign already under way, celebrity stories oftentimes have taken over the news. Pew found that 24% of all news was devoted to Smith at the time of her death, while 12% of all Americans said in early June that Hilton’s incarceration was their most-followed news story of the week.

The survey found that cable news is most to blame for the ongoing celebrity coverage, with 34% of respondents saying cable news had the most celebrity coverage, followed by network TV news (27%), Internet news sites (15%) and newspapers (8%).

None of that type of celebrity news topped last week’s list of the most followed topics, Pew said. Twenty-five percent of survey respondents said they were following the Iraq War most closely, though Pew noted that only 3% of news coverage was devoted to the story. The presidential campaign was singled out by 12% of respondents, while 12% of all news coverage featured it. Also on the list last week were the deaths of a Cheshire, Conn., mother and her two children in a home invasion, along with Iraq policy, the stock market and the saga of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Also receiving interest from news consumers was quarterback Michael Vick’s dogfighting allegations, the continuing controversy over the home run record being chased by Giants slugger Barry Bonds and the NBA scandal over a referee who bet on games.

The survey sampled 1,027 adults from July 22-27.

I’ve never been there. Not interested. I was and am an Angie fan. Wasn’t interested in Brad either before Angie hooked up with him. Now I think of him as a loving partner to Angie and a great dad to their four kids.

#257 Brad answered those questions in a recent article. They do their parts to contribute to the welfare of the environment. Brad rides bikes most of the time. He drives hybrid cars. His new house plan is enviromentally friendly. He’s working on environmental friendly homes in New Orleans. If he takes the private airplanes for the saftey and comfort of his family, I don’t think that’s too much. The family does more good than harm. You people like focusing on the negatives. Nobody is perfect. Do not put yokes on people’s neck that you yourself cannot carry. You are not perfect either. Let there be peace for once!

The only reason break-up rumours started circulating was because there were no pics of the couple for tabs to make money off of. They had to start creating something because Pitt/Jolie is big money. That’s another reason that Shiloh perfume story resurfaced.

I’m getting so sick of the BS that the magazines re dreaming up about these two! Yesterday, they had Angelina looking at & possibly buying a 1-bedroom home in LA, when everyone knows they are in France on vacation. These magazines are getting tiring.

Do you people think Cindy is God or something> LMAO She lies all the time too. The week before Brad was on the beach with AJ for the first time she was saying it was just rumors about them and a week later there they were, and then she had to backpeddle her way out of that.. LOL Wake up people, folks are laughing at these AJ and BP blogs with you guys and the fanfics man that really makes you stop and think what kind of people are doing this. I only read a couple of sentences and was really ROFLMAO, and no I’m not a JA fan no more than a BP or AJ fan I watch all of the movies if they have a good story.

So which one of those two has a movie coming out? There’s so much free publicity that goes along with this sort of thing, and usually a movie producer is behind it, trying to milk everything he or she can without having to pay a penny for it. Chances are that Brangelina is fine, but they’re going along with all this, because it’s easier than having to schlep four kids around doing movie junkets…which, of course, doesn’t make sense, inasmuch as everytime they get bored (which is quite often), they schlep those poor kids all over the world.

The problem with your theory is that those rags are the worst at lying. They have been saying the same thing for 2 years now Brad and Angie are heading for splitsville. Why report on the good stuff? And from your logic, it can also be argued that just because you see parents holding their children 2 feet away from each other, doesn’t mean they are not happy and in love with each other.

So please, you guys just want the splitville to be true because you hate the idea of them together. While we are the opposite, we love the idea of them together and hope their love last a longtime (despite what the world thinks).

TWO YEARS and the haters doesn’t leave them in peace.I have sure that you(haters) have a miserable life and wants the others have the same.
