Violet Affleck: Like My Crocs ‘n Socks?
Broadway bound Jennifer Garner and daughter Violet, 19 months, are in good spirits as they travel through LAX airport on Friday in Los Angeles.
The mommy-daughter duo were protected by two burly security guards. Baby Violet carried a doll that resembled herself and wore her red/black Disney Beach Crocs with white socks.
It was announced earlier this week that Jen will most likely star in the Broadway revival of Cyrano de Bergeracfor a ten-week run in October.

I just will never understand the appeal of Katie. I find her unattractive, even more so since her new odd haircut. Jen may be plain looking most of the time but she’s got killer bone structure and dimples usually help create a captivating smile.

Just like Hawaii the fans were making excuses that Ben was spending little time with his wife because he was busy writing a script with Matt, thanks to those comments by Matt, Ben wasn’t writing any script he did not want to spend time with his wife she was alone a lot with Violet or with Matt and his wife and now she goes to New York alone again…yes very interesting.
Maybe he is still working hard on the release of his movie. Maybe he is flying out later. Maybe……there are a thousand reasons why he did not go with. Jeez. and you know that for a fact. Hell - even the director of The Borne Ultimatum said that he was tinkering with the movie up til a few days before release. There are a lot of things that Ben is still involved in with the marketing of the movie, etc.
I guess I need to have a sit down with my husband. I go to lunch with friends, shopping, meetings without him all the time. He has a job. I have a job. We do not spend 24 hours a day together. Sometimes I take the kids to the park without him. And dammit he’s done the same without me….
And you know what else? When we are out and about together we don’t always have a smile plastered on our faces, we aren’t all over each other - and yet I still enjoy my time with him. I am happy with him.
And - from what I have observed with friends and family. That is NORMAL!!!

Did you not see Matt get in the car and turn around and smile at his wife, did you not see Matt and his wife out to dinner holding hands when he was in LA promoting Bourne. Unlike Angeline - Jen has not blabbed all over the how, why or when she got pregnant. Just a few months before Ben and Jen started dating he talked about how he was ready to settle down and start a family. Jen had made no secret of the fact that she wanted a family. You have no idea if Violet was planned or not.
You do know that Lucy was pregnant before Matt married her right? That they got married at a court house. Other then her daughter, no family, no friends, no honeymoon, he went right back to work the next day. How was that better then what Ben and Jen did. At least they did have Victor with.

Second, Matt Damon is a ton more affectionate with his wife. There is even video to prove it. The video also proves that Garfleck are as hot for each other as a winter storm.

I’ve posted links to Damon hanging out with his wife and being affectionate toward her, but it was moderated for some reason and not posted, so I’m not going through that again, but there are pics of that all over the internet.
Affleck did want to get married and have a kid and I think at the time he thought Garner was the one for that. If you look at pics from when Garfleck first hooked up you can see that, his happiness was obvious. Affleck strikes me as someone who is looking for someone else to make him happy, and Garner was happy to sign up to be that person, I just think, IMHO, he’s finding that marriage and fatherhood isn’t what it’s cracked up to be and he’s not too happy.
Another thing, I would never say any of this if there weren’t pics like the one posted above. I’m not just making up stories from a few random pics, there are ACTUAL pics of them either fighting or him pulling her. I think it’s silly to stay in denial about that.

Well count me in as another fan of the JP’s who don’t knock other families. I don’t like the JP’s being bashed so I don’t bash others. No one knows the truth about any other family other than our own, including celeb families. I see nothing to suggest the Afflecks are not happy. Jennifer seems very happy and they seemed happy on vacation recently.
Every marriage has its ups and downs, we cant judge from a single picture. Im glad no one caught me outside crying yesterday with my hubby. Our beagle had just died, and he just sat with me while I wept.
I guess if I was famous, people would say we were divorcing.
I hope things are well with the AFflecks, can’t say Im a fan of either, but I loved that movie where Jennifer turns 13 again. I’ve never said I wanted the Garflecks to split either. Just because I can’t look at pics of them and swear they are so in love doesn’t mean I think they should divorce. I’m just being honest about what I see. There are pics of them arguing and one of him pulling on Garner angrily. I’m not making stuff up.
What really amazes me is how Garfleck is suppposedly so in love, though there are never really pics of them anymore acting that way toward each other, especially Affleck toward Garner, and they are often separate, while JP are always breaking up though they haven’t left each others side since they got together and there are tons of PDA pics between them.

I really don’t have a reason to defend these two, as I really don’t care much about either of them, but you can’t make assumptions about them fighting from that picture. Neither of them look angry, Garner is just crying. I was outside crying last night with my husband because of a situation that happened at work. And even if it was a fight, every married couple fights. I can’t even begin to tell you how many fights I’ve had with my husband and we’ve been married for 10 happy years. If a couple doesn’t fight, there is really something wrong.
I’m actually surprised the Afflecks have stayed together this long, I only gave them a year when they got married. But you still can’t judge a marriage based on a few photos or a fight.

This is what I’m talking about when I say suspending logic. They are obviously having a disagreement, the rest of the pics show that. You can go ahead and suspend your logic and play devil’s advocate, but I’ll call a spade a spade.
I never said having an argument leads to divorce, you are putting words in my mouth. I just think these two are struggling to keep it together judging from the pics I’ve seen, which is all any of us can do not just me.

LULA 29 you know very well they shared a very sweet kiss the SAME EXACT GROUP OF PICTURES! Obviously if she WAS crying (and there’s no proof she was I don’t see it) It was obviuosly not becuase of a fight and he was trying to comfort her. Violet’s a cutie. I’ve seen Ben look happier and more affectionate when he was with Gwyneth and JLo, he doesn’t look happy with Jennifer Garner. I’m glad you seem to know so much about my marriage. I’m not trying to justify anything in my marriage thank you very much. I’m happily married. I’m just trying to say that you can’t judge what state a couple is in based on pictures. I’d probably be pretty damn cranky if I had cameras following me around town. We don’t see what happens in a celebrities private life. For all we know they could be the happiest couple in Hollywood or they could be sleeping in different rooms, nobody knows. But I don’t really care what you think of these two, the fact that you have seem to think I’m trying to justify the fights in my marriage when you know nothing about me, makes you lose all credibility in my book.

Here we all are, including yourself, giving opinions about what we perceive is going on in the life of strangers based on pictures.
Along with the fact that, as you have stated, “you can’t tell how someone’s marriage is based on picture”, you can’t tell whether or not a person is a good or bad parent either, you can’t tell if two people are dating or not based on pics, however we all come here and venture a guess everyday. So either you’re a hypocrite, or you’re confused as to what you’re doing here, either way you might want to check your own credibility.
From what I’ve seen of pics of these two their marriage doesn’t have much fire. No matter, for them that might equal happiness and as long as they keep it together good for them. It’s not something I’d want though.
The quotes from Ben and Matt that 98 posted is very flawed thinking. I wonder if those actors actually believe that or if they just think it makes them sound good. Probably the latter. As far as making it more difficult to suspend disbelief, yes that part is true. But the rest of the logic doesn’t work.
Some of you people are down right insane. Maybe Ben’s problem is that he has matured and he can’t stand the fact that his family is constantly being photographed!! He doesn’t smile at the camera because he doesn’t want to.
There is a famous picture of Diana and Charles looking totally miserable. I saw the photographer being interviewed. She said that pic was taken as Diana had removed a pair of sunglasses. It did not define the moment.
OK. The voice of reason has arrived. First of all, public displays of affection do not mean a couple is that into each other. Take a look back at some Hollywood couples who professed to the media to be so in “love”. Then take a survey and see how many of those unions lasted for any length of time. Shocking isn’t it? I admire couples who save their PDA’s and intimate moments for the privacy of their own homes. Why do we speculate on who is and who is not going to make. Let’s just wait and see. Let’s try to follow the careers of the celebs we are interested in instead of trying to spot a breakup. And, please for goodness sakes, stop bashing physical appearances of those we don’t like. Grow up. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Innocent children should by all means be excluded.
Remember kids, there is a thin line between Love and Hate. The ones you have today may in fact be the very ones you love tomorrow. I won’t call any names, you know who you are.
I forgot to add that Violet Affleck and Jennifer Garner are Beautiful. That are without a doubt the most adorable mother-daughter duo in Hollywood. The more you guys sprew your hatred; the more beloved they become and we as fans will always step up to protect them. Don’t give in to peer pressuse, stand up for justice and fairness.
