Beckham Benched in Suit

A sockless David Beckham #23 of the Los Angeles Galaxy smiles from the bench before his team takes on Toronto FC at BMO Field on Sunday in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Becks sat the game out due to an ankle injury and chatted up teammates Steve Cronin (0) and Quavas Kirk (15).

Why was Mr. Golden Balls dressed up in a Boss suit?? Was there a party to go to afterwards??

The Galaxy’s next game is Thursday in Washington against D.C. United. Their $250 million probably won’t be going to much use then either — Becks said he was was seven to 10 days away from starting at the press conference yesterday.

WOW some people just can not comprehend that the guy,has an INJURED ANKLE!To all the IDIOTS;HE CAN NOT PLAY!!!!!!

Also i love that he is in a suit,of course again,people dont get it.The guy has true style,that only few men in history had.So he wore a suit,what else?A Jersey,when he isnt playing?

I think people in this country have no ******* clue,NONE!The guy is a true class.And once he gets better,all of the ******** that give him **** for not playing,will be eating their wrods.He prooved how big of a proffesional he is in teh past,many times and will do it again!

Also Sisi when a athletes in Football or Basketball gets injured they are never suited up in uniform, they are always dressed in their own clothes. Be it a suit or nice slacks with shirt and tie. So, I don’t see what the big hoopla is about either that the man one is injured and can’t play and two that he is dressed nice to represent his team. I guess people would like to see him hobble out on the field and Becks get his leg broken before they can say/see he is injured.

I wonder what he’s thinking when he’s standing for the National Anthem before a match, and the song is about beating the British in a battle during the War of 1812!

Glad that he shows up and supports the team by looking stellar in his suit. Doesn’t matter if he’s not playing; people still want to see him even in a suit! He is selling tickets and people are talking about soccer, even if they are saying stupid things like calling it a sissy sport (obviously they’ve never played). He is earning his millions already!

(A) Soccer [FOOTBALL] is harder than it looks.
(B) some teams require their players to attend home games in suits. If they don’t play, they remain in their street clothes. Our hockey club made that requirement.

he likes dressing smart. He is not a substitute so he shouldn’t even sit on the bench (at least in real football…”soccer” seems to have its own rules), he wouldn’t be allowed on the bench in Europe… specially not wearing team clothes … he would be in the stands either wearing team clothes or private clothes.

and he is NOT getting 250 million from Galaxy … it all depends on his performance during the 5 years and extra deals. Idiots!

There are at least 30 players in the world today that are better at soccer than he is. He and his wife are nothing but self obsessed media ******.
