Overexposed, I did not see your other response. Sorry. Kate does not need her GA costars. This was her bachelorette party and SR is her friend who was invited.

Kate was only supposed to be on 5 episodes of GA but became a series regular and now she has her OWN show, Private Practice where she is the STAR. She needs noone. She has done very well for herself. She is always so sweet and kind to everyone. Hell, she even sent IW a nice message when he was fired. She is a nice person who happens to be in the spotlight right now b/c she has her OWN show.

Look, I don’t need a play-by-play of what KW does since I already know the facts. You basically attacked me on something I already knew. I’m actually a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy, and I do know this wasn’t HER party. It was actually a co-party with another actress Trish Leigh Fisher as well. So this wasn’t a solo party just for her as Just Jared is misleading.

You said she needs no one, but yet all the things you listed off on the next page included her ex-castmembers. Is there one event that didn’t include a GA co-star, and I don’t mean paps photos. I mean an actual event where her castmates weren’t there. I seen this on other boards saying she is clinging onto GA because she and her show Private Practice does need the GA fans. Networks try to pull stunts and marketing, just like the phots you see here, to get fans from the parent showt to watch a spin-off. There is nothing wrong with that since it’s marketing and promotion, but it does show she does need someone to get the spotlight on her.

Being defensive is no excuse for cussing at me. I’m sorry, but it’s not.

WHY??? that`s simple, cause she has gained lots of fans and she is starring her own series now, so they r focusing on her. and there`s nothing wrong abt it. It was abt time 4 kate to obtein what she deserved.

Hey maybe she’s just really close with most of her co-stars, it’s a possibility and they like to use premieres and red carpet events to touch base and get some media exposure at the same time, killing 2 birds with 1 stone. It’s a smart thing to do in the long run.

I’m so frkn optimistic at the moment. It maybe because of my good ‘ol hot coffee that I’m drinking right now. Lol.

Considering there is very few events that don’t include her co-stars, then yes she is using her co-stars. Think about it when her co-stars are present there is more footage and disucssion, and more promotion for her show. A show that is sadly being criticized even during it’s test pilot stage. There is nothing wrong with using your co-stars to push your envelope because being with fellow co-stars enables more pictures and interviews on the media shows. To be honest I don’t see her getting anymore attention than her other co-stars. I don’t see it as more, but more or less equal to her co-stars. I don’t see why people have to turn things into competition.

Ironically, I do see many boards saying that many KW fans, generalizing, are freaking out that if Private Practice doesn’t make the cut. Then all their claims of how “big” KW will go down the toilet. Which is understandable because so much defending, claims, and attacks you want to hope everything go smoothly. If not, then it kinda makes you and your favorite celeb look bad.

She was STILL a GA Cast Member when she went to the Gloden Globes, SAG Awards, GLAAD Awards, Grammy After Party,and Oscar After Party. Kate along with the other GA Women were ALL Awarded a Lucy Award. She WAS STILL A CAST MEMBER!!! Just like the rest of the Cast.

She attended the UPFronts with her cast Private Practice not GA.
She attended her fiance’s movie with her fiance.
She attended KH’s movie premiere b/c they are friends.
She went to the Maxim HOTT 100 alone with NO GA cast Member (she was #52 on the list). The only other cast member on the list was KH but she was filming a movie so did not attend.
She attended the TCA ABC Party with HER Cast Private Practice since she is the star.

Overexposed, you are the loser who is fighting with a bunch of fan girls. Get a Life.

Oh come on now, Overexposed, I’m a Kate Walsh fan and I’m not mean (at least I think I’m not) and I’m not trying to be mean, in fact I’m feeling optimistic right now (which is once in a decade for me)….I’ve moved on to chocolates from my coffee…Lol.

Oh, I agree. I seen some very mean Meredith/Ellen fans as well. I’m not a Mer/Ellen fan either, but I have seen what you are talking about with them as well. Some fans of that character or actress seems to derive from the fact she is unexposed. I mean the supporting cast gets more attention than her, and now that can’t be good lol.

No I’m not afraid. If I was afraid I wouldn’t be continuing this discussion. I’m just making observations and stereotypes. Every celeb is bashed. Everyone. I just don’t see the need to attack is all if someone has a different opinion. I’ve come to learn that you can get your point across without attacking in a civilized manner. See, I’m more of a fan of the other characters and actors on Grey’s Anatomy. I have very little interaction with KW/Addison area per sa.

Kate was still a member of GA cast when she attended the events she only became an ex cast mate when the spinnoff was picked up in May, in which she has been to events for Private Practice. Her fiance’s movie premiere. She is friends with KH that is why she went to her movie premeire(KH actually said some really nice things about KW). They even lived next to each other and would go out for a drink after work. Therefore, as a friend she went to her event.

The two bachelorette party’s were separate parties at the same place on the same day. Kate just happens to be more famous than the other woman that is why there were pics of Kate. The two different parties did not intermix.
