OlderAngelina Jolie Works Chicago
Angelina Jolie is in Chicago filming her latest crime action thriller Wanted with Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy, according to the Chicago Sun Times. This shoot is the final leg of filming and is expected to last just three weeks.
To avoid a media frenzy every day, a source close to the actress indicated ”most of her meals will likely be taken on set in her trailer, or back in her hotel suite.”
Angie has five bodyguards protecting her and was seen making her way up to The John Hancock Center, in the heart of Chi-town’s Magnificent Mile, en route to eat at the Signature Room.
No word yet on whether main man Brad Pitt and the kids are in town.
Yesterday, the family was in Santa Barbara celebrating Maddox’s 6th birthday… army-style. Brad was seen with a helmet on while Angie and Zahara had paint smeared on their faces. It was a little boy’s paradise with military uniforms, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and military-style tents.

The L.A times did a HUGE article about how even the people who helped to do the movie were very pissed with the final product.
One more thing EL CANTANTE opened in less than half of the numbers of theaters that AMH did and their avg. per theater is WAY WAY higher than the AMH one.

Again, if there are very few theatres showing the movie, of course the average per theatre is a lot higher. This is common sense. For example if the movie is only shown in 2 theatres, the average would be 1.6M per theatre. Therefore, just looking at the average per theatre is MEANINGLESS.
It is the final gross number that carries more weight.

I think you’re confusing the tabloids with the “ladies from the psycholand” that try to make look pitt dumb.
tabs are trying to paint the picture of brad as ‘hypnotized by angelina”, and that’s not necessarily dumb… but the fact that he’s no longer with JA drives the FF’ers and the likes crazy, so they go “oh he must be really stuPITT.”
of course over at the institution AKA FF, you can’t expect anybody to be rationale enough to even consider the fact that they are in love.
over at the tabs, they’ve got to give the minivan women a sigh of relief with lot’s of drama in the mix and they have the whole “blinded by lust” scenario – lust not love.
both sides are “pitiful” but they’re also different in subtle ways. however tabs have a few more brain cells to figure out that just like he’s a great father, he’s also a humanitarian, a brilliant actor, and in the middle of all this, he’s the CEO of a big corporation that managed and continuing to manage a giant carreer, big productions, tons of money so they know he’s smart as a whip.

Double standard - I have not heard one thing about what a failure Jennifer Lopez’s movie El Cantante was this weekend. They opened to 3.2 mil and as of today are at 3.4 mil. AMH opening weekend was 3.9 million and by that following Monday they were at 4.3 mil. Also, the Bourne moive opened last weekend I don’t see anyone comparing Jennifer’s movie to that like they tried to compare AMH to Spidey, Die Hard and every other big box ofiice movie. But strangely not a peep only how good the performances and reviews are this is not only by the blogs but the media and the entertainment shows, not a peep about it being a box office failure. But there is no double standard for Brad and Angie, yeah right.

Just to illustrate how WRONG didn’t do their math right - El Cantante played in 542 theaters, AMH in 1,355. That means that AMH was in 2.5 times as many theaters as EC. So if EC grossed $3,202,035 in 1,355 theaters that would put the per screen average at $2362.12 - $600 less than AMH.
Now, I’m sure someone is going to come back and say, “But if EC were playing in 2.5 times more theaters, that means it would have done that much more business.” To which I say - bunk! The reason it was only playing in 542 theaters is because JENNIFER LOPEZ AND MARC ANTHONY’S NAMES ABOVE THE TITLE DON’T SELL MOVIE TICKETS! These 542 markets were no doubt all large cities with large Hispanic populations. The movie has limited appeal. The general public doesn’t know the guy Marc Anthony was playing, ergo, they’re not going to the movie.
You would be better off comparing El Cantante to La Vie En Rose…which also would kick EC’s ass in numbers…
So “Wrong” needs to go back to Peaches’ orginal post and try again. Why weren’t the haters out there comparing EC’s numbers to the Bourne movie? Simple - cuz nobody gives a rat’s patootie about another dud Jennifer Lopez flick. The days of JLo being controversial are over and done. Besides…the haters prolly think JLo is da bomb. Some people say that Maniston has move on, but i don’t agree with this and NOT because she still loves Brad (actually i don’t think that Maniston ever loved Brad, but she liked the STATUS that being Brad’s wife brought to her), well, like i was saying… i think that Maniston has NOT move one; because she felt humiliate that Brad move on so fast with Angelina (a woman who Maniston was jealous to begin with), so Maniston will like for Brad and Angelina to break up and Brad to return to her begging for forgiveness!! They are actors, after all. So you can never tell when they are acting and when not. They are both obviously very good at playing with the public attention.
