Beckham Meets the Blue Jays

David Beckham chats up with New York Yankees manager Joe Torre at Toronto’s Roger Centre on Monday. Mr. Golden Balls returned to the field later on wearing a Toronto Blue Jays jersey with his name and #23 stitched across the back.

The Galaxy are scheduled to fly to Washington on Tuesday for a match on Thursday against D.C. United.

Last night, Becks and his LA Galaxy teammates closed down the Ultra Supper Club, where ladies were reportedly all over them.

I feel sorry for Becks, he drives Bentley and lambo and used to always stay at 10 star hotel…Now after joining Galaxy, he has to stay at maybe Holiday Inn with the team? Sad!!!

Victoria wanted David to play in the USA because she did want David to play for Bolton or Birmingham City. But look at this, MLS is worst than English second division…

but he is still hot! He probably would do better hanging around Tom Cruise than playing soccer here…Just I hope Becks won’t jump on the couch or his bench…

I recently met David at the grocery store and he had this young guy with him. Couldn’t have been over 25. Well anyways, when I saw them in the parking lot as i went to my car I saw the boy with his head in David’s lap. I wonder what was going on???

NOBODY cares about the Beckham circus, it came and went with the Chelsea game…oh and BTW, FAmous, Chelsea are a football club out of London, i thought i’d tell ya cuz i know u’re not that smart, in fact ur slow.

Actually, pele’s comments were made in 2003, when Beckham first signed on with Real. The quotes is just being rehashed by the media and taken completely out of context.

“Real Madrid are a team with a lot of money who can afford to buy the best star players. Football today is also entertainment and people want players to be stars rather than footballers. David Beckham is more pop star than player”

Pele was talking about the current state of the game. As for the other ridiculous comments…I’m ignoring them since the “becks is a ladies man” one is barely coherent and the grocery store one is completely ridiculous.

I’ve only heard/ read about him cheating with Rebecca Loos - his former PA in Madrid. Have there been lots more after her? And who’s this Brazilian girl?

I do think he’s pretty hot looking. But I do think that people will OD with the Beckhams. Right now they’re new to the USA and there’s lots of talk about them but it will die down. I definitely think he’s becoming more known for his commerical pull than his athletic abilities. Realistically, how much can one man change the face of MLS?

I’m from Toronto and it’s too bad i didn’t get a chance to run into him while here for his past Sunday game. I’d love to hear about other people who have run into him….
