Fashion Faceoff: Development Dress

Sarah Michelle Gellar went casual in a lace-trimmed Development dress while shopping in Los Angeles over the weekend. The former Buffy star accessorized with a brown handbag and strappy platform sandals.

Lauren Conrad wore the same LBD during NYC Fashion Week back in February. The Hills star finished off her look with matching headband and Mochino heels.

I LOVE Sarah Michelle Gellar, but I have to admit that Lauren wears it better. Lauren’s tan makes it pretty and she keeps it simple and elegant. Sarah looks too pale (maybe because of the lighting). Plus, I really don’t like black with brown. Her shoes are a different kind of style and though I like them, they don’t really match the dress. Oh, and it would look better on Sarah if she were wearing a bra!
