Whoopi’s “View” from Soho

Talking recently about her new job as cohost of The View, she promised not to pick fights as Rosie O’Donnell did as host because that isn’t who she is as a person. Instead, Whoopi promises to be “be respectful and listen.”
“I disagree with a lot of stuff a lot of people say, but there is a dialogue to have with people that I was taught by my mom – how to be respectful and listen,” Goldberg told Ryan Seacrest in an interview. “You can get loud and move on after you are finished with it, that is how I work.”

I think it’s really cool when people co-host “The View!”
I met her in an hotel elevator one time and she was as stoned as I was and we had a great laugh.

I give Whoopi 6 months on that show before she looses her cool with little Ms. Hasselbitch….time will tell…..maybe by then the producers will have seen the light and give Ms. Pissabeth a kick in the ass off the show before they loose another highly talented indivdual who fans adore…..

Like Whoopi…. She’ll be a serious asset to “The View” during the about-to-heat-up 2008 Presidential Election countdown. Looks as though she has lost a little weight which is a healthy thing!
I think she could have expressed herself without involving RO’D. It will be interesting to see if she can pull in the viewers like Rosie did, otherwise her self-important claim about being polite will not fill Bab’s purse and after all.. the numbers is what it is all about.

Whoopi is great–but WHY on earth does she have to wear those stupid glasses?? They are soo-oo–oo out of style! That look dates back to the 60s. Get contacts, or put the glasses up closer to your eyes where they belong, not down on your nose like they are! Just my two cents. Good luck Whoopi.
I like her glasses. I’d love to smell her hair.
