Life & Style Weekly has the exclusive pictures from Brad Pitt’s birthday surprise for son Maddox.
It all started out on Friday when Angelina Jolie brought Maddox with her to work at LA Studios. This was a distraction so that Brad Pitt could ready the house for Mad’s 6th birthday bash. Here’s what the L&S insiders had to say:
On the parents doing the party planning: “Brad and Angelina were heavily involved in the preparations. They mapped out and set up everything themselves.”
On Braddox’s relationship: “Brad and Maddox have a unique father-son bond. Brad came into Maddox’s life at precisely the right time. He needed a strong male influence as a role model. And after all those years of wanting a child, Brad was bouncing off the walls with excitement.”
On the fun waterslide: “It was huge! Brad made sure the plastic was good and wet before anyone went down. He even inflated some rafts.”
On Brad readying the troops for Capture the Flag: “Brad really got into it,” says the insider. “He was decked out in military fatigues and a helmet. Even Angie and Zahara painted their faces!”
On the gifts Brad and Angie bought Maddox (dirt bike, a leather jacket and a helmet): “Mad wants to be a biker, just like his dad. He’s always going into Brad’s closet and strutting around in Brad’s hats!”

Angelina was on set since early morning until 6pm. The kids went to the set around 12pm. Brad was never there, he stayed in the hotel until 6:30pm before angelina arrived at the hotel, and left to the airport.
They are playing “pretending” just like he did with Aniston. Brad is hella good at this game.

So lets see if i got this, brad pitt is not allowed to leave angelina’s side or this will be definative conclusive evidence of a split?, even if he has to work, he shall not leave her side, get a grip and call me when he spends 6 months away from her, like he did with she-who-shall-not-be-named.

Angelina Jolie spent her first day of filming “Wanted” yesterday afternoon in Chi-Town’s Chinatown.
Jolie arrived to the set early in the morning and stayed till mid-afternoon filming a driving scene in a black Audi SUV.
Jolie retreated to her trailers midday for lunch where her children were waiting to see their mom. No word on where Brad Pitt was at this time.
Jolie returned back to her downtown hotel mid-afternoon, but not before saying goodbye to the crew. BTW: The crew loves Angie! They all insist she couldn’t be nicer. Jolie’s stunt-double continued to film the car scenes till early evening.
Around 7 p.m., a driver pulled one of Brangelina’s SUVs, with a bodyguard in shotgun, into the hotel’s private garage where security escorted Pitt into the vehicle and drove straight to a private jet at Midway airport.
The Boots Girls did not see Pitt walk onto the jet, but sources told us Pitt left town for the evening.
His destination is unknown for now.
Jolie is scheduled to continue filming all day today

Not impressed
Shiloh is in more of the pics but life and style as usual chose to leave them out. Angelina did not go after brad you only have to look at the timeline and the pics and the interviews from around that time. As a fan i know that mr and mrs smith wrapped months before pitt and maniston announced their split in jan 05 then in march they had to do reshoots and that is when i believe thay saw each other again and by that time pitt was already seperated. If jolie was the reason the marriage ended and why aniston filed for divorce then why was she so shocked to see him with her in the kenya pics if angie was the reason why it ended. Aniston said herself in the VF interview that she flat out denies that she was left for another woman and that what really hurt her was that pitt had moved on with someone else so quickly and all that goes to show is that pitt was unhappy in his marriage that he can move on so quick.
What is this? We already discussed this topic ad nauseaum we’ve all seen the pics now Life & Style gets a thread? The fans did very well on the past thread describing who was who. We don’t need any insider or any source to say anything because they are made up anyway. All those quotes are just common sense. Of course Brad & Maddox bond. Any idiot can see that. Brad’s been in Maddox’s life since Mad was 3 years old. Of course the parents “got into it”. What else would they do?

Well if he had to work, he should have stayed back in L.A and later join the family in Chicago. If he went with them and left the next day, means he really CARES about the press. He went to chicago becuase he wanted his pic taken so everyone could say SEE! THEY ARE TOGETHER.

Brad plans his business meetings. If he’s back in L.A today why he went all the way to chicago? Finish business first and then go to chicago, or maybe they really got into a fight.
Brad is a great dad. He always make sure that his family is safe and sound.

AJ pictures on set look great. Love the jacket and I actullay like the pants. She looks really happy, good for her as far to many people in this world especially on this board seem to be happy. They seem like a fun family who really enjoy each others company. I wish Brad and Angie well.

I do think Brad’s bit at fault if people are having doubts about his actions because of the way he handled the last year of his relationship with Aniston. He did pander to the media as though things were alright in his marriage and that last trip and sudden announcement of split was tricky. It’s just you never know with him. I can see why some people would compare him showing up for a day in Chicago to the way he showed up in London and left so quickly (yes, I know he had to be there for O12 promotion but it was weird the way he left on his own instead of with Aniston).

Why is Maddox on the cover of that rag? Resorting to putting children who are not celebrities on the cover instead of a choice of thousands of adult celebs? Not cute even if it is Maddox. The days are numbered on that rag anyway. This time next year that magazine will be out of business. Children should be on the cover of Child, Parenting or Baby magazine.
Can’t wait for Brad to start hitting the festival circuit. I know three people going to the Toronto Film Festival. That’s bigger than the Oscars and maybe even Cannes. Excitement all around, Venice, Deauville, New York…..It’s gonna be chaos. I wonder if Cliniqua is going? The lady who runs the Brangelinafans blog is going again this year. She seems to have an in with the Toronto Festival. There will be a big charity bash again this year. Everyone will be there. This is the calm before the storm. Fun, fun, fun. They tiped splash to take the arrival pics, after that he left. He was more careful last night because if the press finds out (like they did) his move will backfire.
He’s trying to control the tabbies before he starts doing press for Jese James. He wants this movie to be his oscar ticket BAD, but the tabloids are running his plan.
Sucks that they found out he left, now he will have to get back tomorrow and I’m sure will get pics of him at the airport. Zen master is back to work.
