Guys with money regardless what race usually prefers a younger woman because they are easier to get along with, not many emotional baggages and not yet bitter in life. Asian women are stereotyped as submissive, conservative and a good homemaker that is why most men here in the U.S. prefers them and not just white men because even African American guys do. Sadly, not a lot of Asians will go out with an African American guys because of resistance from the parents and most Asians respects their parent’s wishes.

For all the kerfuffle about Cage’s wife being ‘Asian’ isn’t she actually American, like hello? She was born in the States, yes of Asian background but nonetheless grew up in the States. But I guess for some people to be American still means being blonde and blue-eyed huh…wow…sad…
And besides, like a previous poster said, it’s not like Cage doesn’t know that he’s the main breadwinner.

To that Asian female who presented this as a ‘fact’ (not one asian girl that I know have parents who told them to marry a white guy, actually in asian culture it is looked down upon and that is a fact ), no offence hun, but that is an opinion not a fact. You are of course entitled to your opinion, no probs there but please don’t present it as a fact just because the parents you happen to know are all like that. There ARE parents who are open-minded, not hung up on what race their daughter dates/marries as long as he treats her well, respects her and loves her. And yes, I also happen to know parents like these, just like you seem to know only parents who seem close-minded in my opinion. You’re entitled to your opinion as based on your personal experience and I’m entitled to a different opinion because mine’s also based on personal experience. I don’t present mine as a fact.

To all the guys who think Asian women are perceived as docile, etc., well, these are just as close-minded anyway, would explain why they feel the need to buy wives from overseas!

And also there’s no need for some Asian women (whether US-born or not) to feel as if they’re superior than white women just coz the good-looking white guy chose them! Puhleez…that’s just as racist! It’s time we leave these racist attitudes behind, whether they’re obviously racist or latently racist. Some people are really still so fu cked up it’s a shame to categorize them as humans.

Do you know where the term Mongoloid came from when describing Down Syndrome people? This was used by racists because they tought Mongols from Mongolia looked like DS cases (who are still called Mongols) by many. The Asian race was even called the Mongoloid race in our racist past.

So clearly racism has shown us that certain races are chastised. So don’t do the same by attacking White people. Let’s all get over this.

and the whole asian vs white debate?
First my asian mother married my white dad to have “whiter” kids and because she was told white guys have $$. IS my mother a gold digger? Yeah, but at least my parents are the same age and still together.

My mother also thinks white girls are way more attractive than asian girls…go figure.

And most white guys I know with Asian girls like their stereotyped qualities, they wouldnt go for just any asian girl. And that’s pretty disgusting to me.
