Lauren Conrad drops by ABC studios on Monday morning in New York City for an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly! to promote Season 3 of The Hills. She wore a Mint by Jodi Arnold dress and Dolce Vita Mary Janes.
The first episode addresses the “big split” between Lauren and ex-roommate Heidi Montag. Watch all of the drama unfold on the season premiere of The Hills airing tonight at 10PM ET/PT on MTV.
Lauren, 21, also admitted she’s having boy troubles! “Dating is not that easy,” she said on Regis. “The type of guy I want to date is not the type of guy who wants to be on a reality show, so it’s always kind of battle. I’ll [tell a guy] it’s not that big of a deal. [He'll] show up and I have about a crew of 15 with me, 3 cameras. Very romantic.”

Lauren looks stunning in that dress. She was great on Live and i thought the 1st ep of season 3 was great too. I agree with poster 48, I think we’ve all given Spencer way too much credit, he is a complete jerk but Heidi is accountable for her own actions and most of the crummy comments made this week came directly from her mouth. Pathetic as Lauren would say. I also agree that Spencer is gay and is playing Heidi for a fool and for his “cover”. My best friends brother actually fooled around with him in HS, I told him he should sell the story to the tabloids but he’s firmly entrenched in the closet too.
Lauren is a regular girl living a less than regular life. For all her faults, I like her. I think she’s smart and knows how to be a friend. The blonde bimbo Heidi is a plastic. A fake-ass ***** who will end up ******** herself in the end.
Lauren has such a great smile, I swear that girl can wear anything and look good. But this dress is mega brilliant. Just stunning on her. She is looking so skinny too, I saw her and Whitney walking down Madison today. It was so funny because Joel Madden and Nicole Ritchie were right in front of them! Very surreal. And they both looked gorgous, whit and lauren i mean but nicole looked good too, she has that pregnancy glow!
Lauren is super nice and very down to earth. A normal girl with ambitions. That’s actually a lot of what makes me like her. she could be me or you only with more money and better clothes lol
SHE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. TEAM LAUREN ALL THE WAY!!!!!! Heidi is a fake little beeeoytch who used Lauren to gain publicity and saying anything about Spencer is a waste of time b/c that closeted geek is so thick headed and conceited that he will think any insult is a compliment or a way to gain more attention. Lauren is awesome. Get rid of the two idiots. End of story.
We love the show and we love Lauren. As any parent knows there aren’t many TV programs that actually follow/promote kids going to college, working on internships etc. I think it’s great that everyone on the show has career ambitions and is going places and is constantly planning and thinking of their future. We need more role models like LC in the world and less Paris Hilton’s and Britney’s!!!!

Hello, she’s 21, she’s allowed to drink. She also always take cabs unlike Paris and co. And she still manages to go to school, work and design her clothing line with no problems so if she has a cocktail or 3 who are we to judge?
What episodes are you watching? We see Lauren go out to clubs like most young kids do but, we never see her miss work or not go to school. The Hills is not a party show. It shows the balance of work and play - something we all strive for in our 20’s and beyond. Lighten up!
No one here thinks Lauren is a saint. I’m sure she’s done her fair share of whatever, but I like that she’s focused and driven. No one is saying don’t drink, don’t have fun but do it in your off time. My God, who doesn’t kick back and relax when they get home from work be it in the jacuzzi, devouring a pint of haagen daaz, reading, exercising or going clubbing. Whatever works for you…
I like that’s she’s real. She’s relatable. She’s doing the things my friends and I are doing (OK, she goes to cooler clubs) but we all work, we all go to school, we all have goals.
I like seeing the ups and the downs cuz we’ve all been there. She might not by your role model but I admire her.

doesnt spencer look like one of the beavis and butthead cartoons, i swear he reminded me of someone and i finally read it somewhere else and it finally clicked, lol
i also fast forwarded the spencer/heidi scenes. I don’t believe one word of that scripted couple so why watch that fake ass love story. we all know that spence is head over heels for brody anyway.

actually he reminds me of johnny fairplay, someone mentioned that on one of the boards and i so agree, Spencer tries to imatate that guy so much. He is fugly just like johnny, he makes wierd gestures and gang signs courtesy of johnny fairplay and spencer even came up w/ his own fake grandnma story just like, you guessed it, johnny fairplay. what a loser- even being scripted and pathetic he doesn’t know hot to be original!!!!!

LC is classically beautiful. Her, Lo and Whitney are by far the prettiest girls on the show. They are all naturally gorgeous.
