Amanda’s “Dear” Clothing Line Debut

Amanda Bynes unveils her new clothing line “Dear” at Steve & Barry’s in Herald Square’s Manhattan Mall on Thursday in New York City.

Like Sarah Jessica Parker’s affordably priced “Bitten” line, the Dear collection has every item priced at $19.98 or less.

“I think we’ve developed a lifestyle brand that girls are going to embrace,” the starlet has said of the clothes. “I wanted a clothing line that made affordable fashionable, because it is really hard when you’re in school and maybe your parents can’t afford or won’t let you get the expensive clothes and you still want to be wearing the hip thing. I think that it’s now hip to have affordable clothes.”

Just in time for the new school season!

She’s cute, as is SJP, but both of their lines are ugly and look cheap. This is just yet another marketing scam. “Hip and affordable”? Affordable, yes; hip, no way.

I’ll check it out! I bought a shirt from the Sara JEssica Parker Bitten line and its cute, comfy, and cheap. My only complaint with these celeb clothing lines is that they’re not for every size. I’m not like a tub-o-lard, but I’m not a size 6 either. I wish they would extend their sizes a bit more. I know I would for sure buy some more the the SJP Bitten stuff!

I just came back from buying her clothes, some things are cute!! but I only got a Tank top and a sweater with some accesories. But everyone should check it out.!

Same old, same old, nothing you cannot find in a million other stores.The $15 jeans looks ok, but I am 5′10″ and the size tall jeans didnot even reach my ankles! I didnot buy anything. I liked a stripped jersy frock, but the fabric is too thin, will not last a wash.I don’t think I will be going back for more.

omg love her clothes when i was at her site i didn’t think it would look good pairing the bananna yellow hoodie with the blue jumper but it looks so cute on her and her stuff is cute and comfortable because if your wearing these really tight cute jeans with a sweater that chokes you it’s not worth it so way to go Amanda we luv ya
