Britney Spears - “Allure” Outtakes
Here are some outtakes from Allure’s September cover shoot, shot by Michael Thompson, at Pier 59 Studios West in Santa Monica on April 25.
Hairstylist Danilo on Britney taking off her wig and revealing one inch of ashy blonde hair: “She was more shocked [when the wig came off] than anyone else. She looked damn cute with short hair. She should bleach it out and just be the fierce new Britney.”
Photographer Michael Thompson on his vision: “I wanted to capture the free spirit Britney, so I photographed her on the floor and let her do what she wanted.” (Britney chose to pose topless in her Dolce & Gabbana jeans, opting to wear her own jewelry)

sheila, what truth? we all know that those photos are not real, a really good wig and professional makeup can make ANYONE look hot

“Fake” or not, I think this is by far Britney’s best photoshoot to date. The cover shot for Allure is _amazing_, even if the photos are clearly airbrushed. I hope she pulls herself together - she needs to make a proper comeback with new, catchy material, not with the oddball retro gig here and there. Regardless of what she has done in her life, I don’t think people should be as harsh on her as some here are - I doubt her mind is “a plate of scrambled eggs with cheese” (and this coming from a non-fan of Britney’s, mind you). :/
