Mindfreak star Criss Angel works his magic on his next victim — Britney Spears!
The couple was spotted leaving the Tower Beverly Hills Hotel together at 4AM in the morning on Thursday. Conversation topic of the night? Probably their legal battles! Criss, 39, is currently in a messy divorce battle with ex-wife-to-be Joanne Winkhart. Britney, 26, is caught up in a custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.
Criss last hooked up with actress Cameron Diaz. They went on a “couple dates” before calling it quits. The smooth-moves magician has also been romantically linked to rehab fave Lindsay Lohan.
UPDATE: Thanks to JustJared.com reader Nick, Britney was likely plotting her comeback performance with Criss. “Rumor has it he’s helping Britney for a special performance at the VMAs,” says one spywitness. “They were discussing the VMAs in the restaurant.”

I love criss angel just as much as the next loyal. ive been a fan for years, but in my opinion…..he should have stayed with joanne or find someone of the like. at least she is a real woman. he needs to grow up and stop playing. his career is going to go down the drain if he dont stop whoring around and settle with someone who has some common sense.
Well…It doesn’t matter what they were talking about…Isn’t she supposed to be home at 4 in the morning for her kids? I’m not sure about the whole Criss Angel thing. What can Criss POSSIBLY do to help Britney’s performance for the VMA’s? Unless she’s thinking of become a very amateur version of Houdini then I don’t really see the purpose of Angel helping her; but in a way she DID need an Angel to help her with her VMA performance (OH WOW!! Did you people see that? I was so embarrassed for her…that was so embarrassing I felt embarrassed for just watching her dancing.) I honestly think Britney can do good if she just relaxes, spend some time with her children and try to get back in touch with her OLD self (yea…this new self scares me ALOT).
