Gwyneth Paltrow Brings “Pleasures Delight”
Estee Lauder spokesmodel Gwyneth Paltrow (in Marc Jacobs) makes her first and only US department store appearance of the year, promoting the new “pleasures delight” fragrance at the Macy’s on State Street on Friday in Chicago, Ill.
Exclaimed Gwyneth, “I love Chicago!”
Everyone who purchased a bottle of Pleasures Delight ($65) was able to get their perfume signed by the Oscar winner. This floral confection blends notes of juicy Pomegranate, whipped Strawberry Meringue and tempting Caramel with a sprinkling of Sugared Rose Petals, dewy Freesia, White Peony and Fresh Greens. Gwyn wore Prada shoes.

Just like it was a coincidence that all those false fake leaks about Brad supposedly co-starring with her, leaked to the press at the exact same time, and as she was promoting some film of hers at Comic-con. Just like it’s also a coincidence that Maniston launches publicity blitzes RIGHT as Brad and Angelina are promoting their just released feature films, and then slinks back underground when they’re done.
Huvane could put betty white on the cover of Maxim, that’s how savvy and horrifically scary proficient he is. he’s a big huge C**T.
ITA. Why is it lately that when the AJ-BP are out promoting something ..those 2 GW-JA projects are being pushed. I’ve even notice that here on JJ’s. Ya know why, Cate didn’t win coz the movie “Elizabeth” was directed by an Indian (Shekhar Kapur). The Oscar voters will not vote for a movie that is directed by a non-white. The same thing happened for the “Sixth Sense” which was directed by an Indian, Manoj Night Shayamalam.
She Cute and the Reason she Has Bad prosture is Because she banged her knee on something and her knee is injured Badly so she can’t stand straight and she has to limp!

What? I don’t get what the above even means. I think that impression is more IN YOUR MIND than in other people’s. Who are these people you happen to see when you go to NYC, because I can tell you right now - she looks NOTHING like that — and that description of yours doesn’t even exist (although there are plenty ‘upper east side’ wealthy OLD ladies that dye their hair blonde) — but more realistically, I see about 1001 Paltrows every day walking the street of ANYTOWN, USA. She’s plain, she bleaches and fries her hair, her voice is annoying and nasally, she’s uneducated and she herself is one of the ‘dumb Americans’ that she LOVES to hate on. It’s quite funny actually.
I think the only reason a few people might have the same impression of her that you do, is because when she first came on the scene, and was known as BP’s gf, her PR people bent over backwards and did their damndest trying to associate her with Grace Kelly (like Claire Danes people are doing with her now) to establish a ‘name’ for her, separate and apart from being a movie star’s gf. They created that - the fashion icon and throwback. But it was all smoke and mirrors…OBVIOUSLY.
I mean look at that posture, why is she standing like that?? Like she’s 4 years old and has to go take a leak??!! My God, she’s half way to 40…and she’s standing with her toes turned in and shoulders slumped??!! What is wrong with these women who just cannot grow up? It’s sad. …and that voice - ugh — nothing about this woman says poise or class to me. Cate Blanchett who’s around the same age, makes her look like such a fake. I think Estee should ditch Paltrow and hire Cate - if they want that ‘look,’ mainly because she does it so much better, and is the real deal.

By the way I agree with Charlie, CLINIQUA sounds like such a cool drag name! Uhm, hello, I live in New York and yes, the whole Upper East Side blonde look does exist. It’s very hard to attain and maintain because it can be very expensive. A few examples of women who do this, Tinsley Mortimer, Lauren duPont, Amanda Hearst, and any blonde model worth her contract.
Her hair looks good, it looks healthy and has good coloring. I wonder who does her coloring.

No it’s “safe to assume,” that I am “naturally predisposed,” to Paltrow’s and Aniston’s b*tchy PR queen agent Stephen Huvane stalking Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie. Can’t his clients do anything under their own steam? Like it was impossible for Paltrow to have booked a signing anywhere else but Chicago, and like it was doubly impossible for her to have done it at any point outside of the two weeks Brad and Angelina would be there? Come on. Just like Huvane sat on Aniston’s schilling bottled tap water for 8 months, and leaked her *new man* ‘news’ to the tabloids and press, right as O13 and AMH were releasing and Brad & Angie were doing lots of press. What? There was no time, before or after those concentrated short and brief periods, when his clients couldn’t have shilled and promoted their own sh*t?? This is more than a coincidence. Yeah, it does seem kinda coincidental that JA is always doing some type of publicity around the same time AJ and BP are out there doing there thing. As well JA seems to be putting out a lot of private stuff out there like the time she had lunch with BP mom. How did that get out? I don’t think Mrs Pitt put it out. And GP appears to be totally insecure about getting older. Still 35 is not old but I guess it is by Hllwd standard.
Look at when AJ and BP went to the GGA and the next day all you had was negative press about how she would not smile. THen you find out her mom was dying of cancer. Then a few weeks later her mom dies and she did not even bleed it, she just went on quietly about her business mourning her loss.
If it was JA we would hve to be subjected to how she was doing and all of her phony crap.

I think she is pretty. Even the girls in line where saying she is pretty. I was like the only dude in line but I don’t care. She is tall and her smile is fantastic. Anyways, it was my turn for Gwyneth to sign my bottle. I handed her the bottle expecting her to just sign it but she waited a little and then looks down at me and smiles patiently. I turn red told her “To Diego”. She signs it and hands it back. So for 70 bucks and 40 minutes of waiting in line that is what I got meeting Gwyneth Paltrow and I was happy.

I do not agree that GP is unattractive. She is still a beautiful woman. But I do agree that she is seeming kind of desperate to hold on to that youth. And I think it is difficult for her to see BP with some one like AJ. GP is using to being the Bell of the Ball and now she has to watch as BP settles into happiness with a stunning woman and four beautiful children. How difficult must that be for her.
And another thing when BP was still married to JA, she seemed to have found some peace in knowing that she was in a differnt league that JA in every way. But now she is being replaced and the guy never seems happier. Personally I though it was a bit of a joke when he was with that JA. I just could not understand the attraction and then JA was so career obsessed, she made up all the excuses about why she could not have a baby. So I have no sympathy for her at all. You only get one chane at a guy like BP.
So now that her career has tanked we are suppose to feel sorry for her that at age thiry nine she is now talking about having a child. Please, she just sound pathetic.

If JA has such a good heart she should put her money where her mouth is and go a way for a while to do some good for others. But it seems she cant leave the whole Hollywood seen. She seems to be addicted to fame. GP is also married to a deep guy Chris Martin, he is a guy who would like to do good for others why is GP not tapping into some of that rather than running around talking about how she is back and she needs to work more now. I know she does not need the money.
