Christian Bale as Bob Dylan
Here are the first movie stills of Christian Bale as Bob Dylan in biopic I’m Not There.
The film reflects the life of musician Bob Dylan. The iconic singer-songwriter will be depicted through six distinct stages of his life by six different actors (Bale, Cate Blanchett, Marcus Carl Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger and Ben Whishaw.
Previously, we’ve seen Blanchett as Bob Dylan. The film also stars Julianne Moore and Heath’s live-in lover Michelle Williams.
I’m Not There will premiere at the 64th Venice Film Festival (August 29th to September 8th). A limited US release is schedule for November 21.

Nope - that’s Christian Bale. An interesting concept - having different actors play the same person in different stages of their life… I think Christian Bale is way too hot to play Dylan at ANY age, but that’s just my opinion. I’ll probably see this when it comes out on DVD.

Pure talent, and a strange kind of appeal, hard to explain but in a good way…
Bale is not aging gracefully unlike the other actors who are already on their forties.

Although I am a bit over the musical biopic overkill of late, I think Christian Bale is an AMAZING actor. And, who does want to see the always fabulous Cate pull of Dylan?
I had no idea Christian was doing this movie. Will definately check it out.
Don’t understand all the comments about Christian “not againg gracefully”. Imho, he still looks great. And Sibi is a mutt? Really? She may not look like a hollywood starlet, but she is still gorgeous by “real world” standards by far. Kudos to Christian for not going for vapid Lohan/hilton-types! If you want to talk about plain, Clive Owen’s wife (as well as Hugh Jackman’s) looks like a “real” woman. Go google Sarah Jane Fenton and Deborah Lee Furness . ..
Dumb movie. They have like five people playing Bob Dylan, including Heath Ledger and Cate Blanchett… artsy-farsty crap about a guy who who won’t give a **** about this movie or the people in it.
Bale reminds me of Tom Cruise and as far as this movie I will wait for it on dvd. Dont care for the rest of the cast except for Blanchett and Im no Bob Dylan fan.
