OlderJennifer Aniston: Marley & Me
Jennifer Aniston has fetched herself a new role in Marley & Me, an adaptation of John Grogan’s bestselling memoir about an incorrigible Labrador retriever.
David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) will direct, Owen Wilson will co-star and production will commence in 2008.
According to Variety, “Marley is the yellow lab adopted by Grogan, a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and his wife. Their idea was to give them a taste of parenthood, but the dog proved to be a hyperactive handful. He wreaks havoc, gets kicked out of obedience school and gets even worse when the children begin to arrive, yet becomes an indispensable part of the family.”
Aniston, 38, also scored herself a small role in He’s Just Not That Into You, an ensemble comedy based on the best-selling book that is a social commentary about modern-day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex.
Ken Kwapis (License to Wed) will direct, production will star early September in L.A. and Drew Barrymore is producing via her Flower Films production company.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Aniston will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will not commit to marriage.”
The film also stars Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ginnifer Goodwin and Barrymore.

Other than that she always comes out as Rachel, which is boring.

He is hilarious and she likes to laugh. Now if she could only get him to stop visitng the playboy mansion.
Well now she can go back to her career and life will go on.. this girl is pretty boring and does not have anything else going on anyway.
I dont know how she will do in Barrymores film. there are some real heavy hitters there and she might get lost in the background noise..youve got Jennifer Connelly.. Drew Barrymore..Gennifer Goodwin.. great actress..(seen her on Mona Lisa smile.. she was fantastic. and then there is Scarlett johnansen.
she is not a good movie actress, a tv actress maybe. she’ll always be rachel greene. all the characters that she had played in the movies she had the same rachel greene expression. she tries to be a serious actress in derailed and it bomb. the only one that’s not a box office but got some good review was the good girl and that’s one out of 10 movies that she did. movies that did well in box office were the ones with ben stiller, jim carrey and vince vaugh. jen can’t carry a movie alone she needs support. if she is such a good actress, how come her movies bomb?

Looks like in the end Angelina continue to get trumped by Brad. Their fans continue to say that Jennifer would not give him a baby, you are darn right who will try to bring a baby into a relationship of a man who is a cheater. But, seems as though she is the one lucked out, because when you look at the pictures of Brangelina on that yacht with the kids, Brad ignored the hell out of ANgelina. At one point she kind of walked the baby over to him he did not even blink, he continued to not acknowledge either on of them. This man has clearly checked out of this relationship emotionally, and next step physically. He went there long enough to do the photo op and got the hell up out of there. Hands down, Jen won. To add insult to injury, Angelina is looking like an eighty year old grandmother, and Jen is gorgeous, That KARMA is a true mo-fo, don’t you think?

That’s not unfair. that’s the truth. What other serious movies you saw jen in beside the good girl and derailed? she did more comedies than action, drama, thriller, suspense or romance. She needs to stay away from comedy for a while and do something else.

Yeah - Karma is so real!!! It is such a shame that people really don’t realize that some day they have to “pay the piper” so to speak.
Don’t wish anything bad on anyone but will not be suprized about anything regarding the JP’s. Jen is a surviver - she has already proved that - she has nothing else to prove.
