OlderJennifer Aniston: Marley & Me
Jennifer Aniston has fetched herself a new role in Marley & Me, an adaptation of John Grogan’s bestselling memoir about an incorrigible Labrador retriever.
David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) will direct, Owen Wilson will co-star and production will commence in 2008.
According to Variety, “Marley is the yellow lab adopted by Grogan, a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and his wife. Their idea was to give them a taste of parenthood, but the dog proved to be a hyperactive handful. He wreaks havoc, gets kicked out of obedience school and gets even worse when the children begin to arrive, yet becomes an indispensable part of the family.”
Aniston, 38, also scored herself a small role in He’s Just Not That Into You, an ensemble comedy based on the best-selling book that is a social commentary about modern-day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex.
Ken Kwapis (License to Wed) will direct, production will star early September in L.A. and Drew Barrymore is producing via her Flower Films production company.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Aniston will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will not commit to marriage.”
The film also stars Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ginnifer Goodwin and Barrymore.

Aniston sucks! Every movie she’s ever made has flopped! Know why? Because they only acting she can do is as Rachael!! No matter what role she’s playing she acts like she’s playing Rachael..thats all she can do.
except for life or something like it, that wuz a ‘comedy’ an we all know that 1 gigantickly FLOPPED. angelina is at best if she sticks 2 her usual roles.

I know and I agree, but she’s good doing comedy, I think she should accept good scripts, comedy or not. ‘Marley and me’ sure is a good one.
See Meg Ryan for example, she picked really bad scripts just to run away from the ‘america sweetheart’ image and she is failing on it until now.
Jen is really funny and sweet doing this kind of role, so, why say no to that?
and people, the subject about brad, jen and angie thing is getting really really boring. You are being very imature. Angie and Jen are good actresses, both had flops and sucessfull movies. Angie is really great in drama and action, while Jen does amazing comedy stuff. Let’s stop this stupid argument

Who knows what is in Huvane’s trick book. Owen Wilson is on the radar screen. May be they will ARRANGE FOR ANOTHER FAKE RELATIONSHIP to sell movie tickets, like they did the last time on TBU.

Naomi was not talking about the type of movie - she was talking about the role/charater Angelina played in each movie. A bad sexy girl/strong women that has issues and the only one she did not play that in was AMH cuz she was playing a real person that is not a bad sexy girl/strong woman that has issues.
Jen’s lips are way too thin. She will have even thinner lips as she grows older.
She is edging 40. Although she used plastic surgeries and botox, NO plastic surgeon can fix the inner body. Her inner pipes are her REAL AGE, close to 40.
She is playing her old role Rachel Green. I guess she FINALLY REALIZE that she has to play her own station, NOT overreach.
She has NO range in her acting.

I think both of these movies sound enteratining. The “He’s Just Not That Into You” sounds really funny. It will be fun to see them act it out.
And movies involving pets (especially dogs) are always light hearted and fun. I really believe with everything happening in this world, we need as many light hearted movies that they can make.
Bravo to her. I think it is great she took some quality time for herself and is ready to get back into the main stream of things. I wish her lots of good vibes and energy.

My advice to you is not to go to the movies because you are wasting your money. Stay at home and watch reruns of Friends since you do not know what acting is.You are just as limited as your idol, now you’ve just wasted a couple minutes of my time, damn.
hate on jen all you want but she can still buy and sell angelina. I would love nothing more than to see Jen hook up with george clooney….now that would be a hot couple!!!!!!
