A naked Mariah Carey graces the September 2007 cover of Interview magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday, August 28.
“Mariah naked. The superstar in bed with two mystery men and telling all in a candid new interview from her mega-million dollar breakup to her breakdown, and the pressures of being Mariah.”
What’s Mariah up to these days?
“I’m finishing up my record right now,” she recently told People. “It’s my favorite music I’ve ever done, basically. And I’m in a movie called Tennessee - I play Krystal. The character is very different from me and I think people are going to be surprised - she’s very unglamorous, very raw.”

This is not really too much different from what she wears on a daily basis. I never have understood her penchant for dressing inappropriately. Maybe this is an improvement? Nah…I remember photos (not a photo shoot) in NYC in the dead of winter - freezing cold - and her walking around in short, short cut-off jeans, highheels, a newsboy cap, and of course a bomber style short jacket - unzipped with her business hanging out everywhere. Why? And then when she does don the occassional dress, long or short, its tight as hell. Attractive - maybe - but not in the way I think she thinks. I don’t find her to be all that - nothing special. There are plenty of people as attractive - or not, depending on your view - as her. Why does she choose to showcase this instead of her voice? When was the last time you saw a photo of her and commented on her voice, singing, etc.? Probably sometime ago because the ‘appearance’ is what she promotes - even in an attempt to drum up business for her music. Unfortunate.

For a voluptuous gal, there’s something unsexy about Mariah. She always looks like she’s trying too hard.
Mariah is a beautiful woman but I don’t like this pose at all. The stance with her bent over with her hair covering her face is awkward. Angelina did a cover for Esquire were she partially nude where she owned it and came out looking strong and sexy. She also could a done one of the poses Heidi Klum just did in her nude spread.

mariah is very talented and everything but this cover of her is not that attractive. i’m not dissing her body but the cover shot just wasn’t shot well enough. she looks awkard and uncomfortable at that angle.
Is she still relevant? I hate her voice. it’s just a lot of screaming.
I don’t care that she is posing some kind of nude. Who cares. all the stars have allready done that.
But it looks like they have put her head on another body because that is not her body.

maraih is just an attention seeker and a nut. shes 37 for gods sake my moms age. and to think someone my moms age would strip is just proof she a ho. in her day (thats in the late 80s and 90’s) she had and still has an unbelievable voice, but other singers were more famous, there was whitney houston, toni braxton, brandy, celine dion etc. she was feeling left out and with her movie flop she hit rock bottom. now that all the real talent is gone, in 2005 she was the only real talent around. i love her voice, but not her attitude and her way of thinking.

mariah mariah mariah. a multi million voice and you pose naked? so many things are wrong with this. first of all shes like 36 years old. thats too old to still want to be in the business. leave it to the young stars. once you’ve 32 you gotta be thinking about putting down the mic. and this picture, she look like she wana take a $hit, her face red as hell, better put on that fake tan of yours mariah, ya know the one with gold in it. i like her voice but she really wants attention. j-lo way prettier than her but even j-lo knows when to go. mariah its over, stop posing naked, everyone gonna forget this in a week, when rihanna releasing another hit..
SHe’s one of the best artists of all time vocally. I just don’t understand what she has against clothes… She’s always dressed like a hooker! She and Britney must have the same stylist…

I just read about Mariah’s new album on GlobalGrind.com. I think it’s gonna be great, and as a man, I don’t mind a confident woman not afraid to show off some skin. However, sometimes I do wish she would leave us to wonder more…But that aside, she has an amazing voice and I think this is the perfect time for a new Mariah album, she’s been able to last for over a decade and you gotta give her props for that.

and to 58 and 59, you guys don’t know what you’re talking about. 58, you probably have never even listened to her music, because if you did, you would know that it’s not just freakin screaming. She has an amazing voice that can compare to few others. 59, saying she is “diminutively talented” is absolutely ridiculous. even if you don’t like her singing, her lyrics are still amazing, and she writes 95% of them.
and to everyone who says that she is old and needs to stop working, she’s only 37, who the **** stops working at 37, (for ex) madonna is 49 and is still more active than ever. 37 isn’t old at all, so shut the **** up!
