Angelina Jolie’s New Shiseido Ads
It seems that Angelina Jolie is still Shiseido’s spokesmodel as new ads featuring the pilllow-lipped star have surfaced for Shiseido’s “Integrate” make-up line. Angie’s first ads hit the Internet exactly the same time last year.
Orlando Bloom’s Shiseido ads were debuted earlier this week as well.
In party news… Angelina and Brad Pitt will soon be attending a swanky dinner in the Hamptons to raise funds for Brad’s work in helping rebuild New Orleans, according to E! Online. Two Tribeca Film Festival cofounders will host the party — superproducer Jane Rosenthal and her husband Craig Hatkoff.

Have to say, I prefer her au naturale. When she is with carrying her kids or grabbing a cup of coffeee in NO, or in the field with the refugees where you know she may not even had much water to wash her face - that’s when her beauty really shines through.
As far as the ads go, I really really like the ads in SJK, where they dont’ seem to have done much airbrushing or make up. Of course the shiseido ads are to appeal to the Japanese market, Japanese ladies, who from my observations, have a wonderful, clearly Japanese sense of style.
And of course, Angelina is still the face of Shiseido make up. Their spokes person said that when Angelina was used to advertise lipstick, lipstick sales for shiseido went up immediately by 25%.

Yes, every ad are photoshop, but if a person is ugly, no amount of photoshop can’t chnage the uglinest. look at Maniston recent smart water ad, her skin lines were airbrushed but the big Dustin Hoffman nose and long chin and mega mandible were still there, still fugly.
I always think those catty green eyes were Angie best feature. too bad, Shiloh didn’t have them.

I love that Angie’s candid pap pics also have the same flawless skin! I mean, considering how close some of the paps get, her skin always looks so clear and lovely, it’s amazing. Yeah, drug problems my a$$! People with drug problems (cigarettes, alcohol, meth, crack, etc.) have C R A P skin!!! She doesn’t. And she hardly wears any foundation too, obvious from all these pics where the color of her facial skin is the same as the neck and the rest. A lot of other people you can tell that the foundation shows through in the pics coz the face is usually lighter than the rest, have a look at any premiere/red carpet pics for a lot of actresses.

Oh please! There was no mention of this so-called “brawl” whatsoever during the two weeks that Brad and Angie were here in Chicago. In fact the description during their dinner at Japonais were that they were very affectionate to each other all the time. Now that they are no longer here to write about and they had gone under the radar again, this blogspot needed the hits that the JPs generated during those two weeks and so the convenient “sources” have come up with this “exclusive”.
They were in Prague shooting Wanted for a month. Of course during that time Brad would have dropped by for a visit or two. They were in Chicago for two weeks, and a lot of Angelina’s shoots were night time (IIRC there were about four or five of those night shoots). Who’s gonna take care of the kids, then? And didn’t Brad have to go for jury duty? Didn’t this blogspot report on how Brad nearly jumped Angelina when she came to pick him up at O’Hare?
Boy, I am just glad that Brad and Angelina are strong individuals. If I had to undergo this constant scrutiny of my personal life and my family ALL THE FREAKIN’ TIME I would have gone amuck on the papz (a la Justin Timberlake and Sean Penn) or I would have decamped for the hills and live the rest of my life with my family as hermits!!!!

#119, as a long-time Angie fan I can definitely tell you that she has NEVER had what for her would be considered double chin! Go trawling through ALL her pics, from modelling from teenage years to now, she has NEVER had that much weight on… My god, I wonder if a Faniston reworked an Angie pic to look like that? The closest she had more flesh on her chin was when she was pregnant with Shiloh, you could see it on the People pics, the one shot in the desert when Z was trying to walk with Brad’s help. Angelina and the children are in NO with Brad. He said it twice. Angelina has the most mesmerizing kind of face. Her jawline is perfect. I saw two ’street ‘vendor paintings of her twice this year.
One was in the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas. Was on the way to see Mama Mia the musical and we were in a rush, thought I would check it out later.
It was sold when we returned.
The other time was in May this year. My husband and I were on vacation in Vienna and there was this street vendor near the Stephansdom ,selling self -drawn pictures of famous people,there was one of Angelina done in charcoal.
It wasn’t that good , the artist was a student from one of the new states of Russia, but I was going to buy it after we had eaten. By the time we returned, it was dark and I couldn’t find the vendor anywhere. So twice ,I’m moaning with big regrets ! If there’s a next time ,think I’ll just grab it.

I agree, but in this ad she’s selling make-up, so of course they are going to airbrush the bejesus out of the photo. The face is supposed to be perfect in those ads, not natural.

Most artists say not only her lips are her best features, it is her eyes that most men really adore. Some say, her eyes are almond shape and very penetrating and expressive. That is why, she can express a lot of emotions on the screen. She reminds me of a young Sophia Loren and a young Brigitte Bardot.
By the way, she wore a black bathing suit in Lara Croft II at a beach in Europe in the earlier scene.

If Brad wanted that selfish old cow, he would still be married to her. The ads are great. And airbrushing is done on any
subject used to get the commercial/ad product emphasized — not the model.per se. If a well known person, all to greater affect — all the better. Of course. And, as previous comments remarked, her off set and her normal life, as much that is allowed by the dam paps and tabloids, she beats out all the heavily made up types we see. She is known by peers and others who have seen or worked with her, that she often doesn’t even makeup on set filming! Au naturel is right on. And class always shining through, too. Query: what the devil being first about? Who cares about such ranking? And with no comment about the subject at hand. Me, second, third, what ever. How about last?
