Here is your sneak peek of Dana Delany as one of the new Desperate Housewives. She’ll play Katherine, a conservative Republican with an all-American wholesomeness and a mastery of passive aggressiveness.
Dana, now 51, originally read for the role of Bree back in the day but turned down creator Marc Cherry three times. BIG MISTAKE! Hopefully Dana will get her chance at making a breakthrough comeback…
Firefly’s Nathan Fillion will play the strapping, tight-pants-wearing younger husband of Delany’s character. Lyndsy Fonseca (How I Met Your Mother) will play the new couple’s hell-raising daughter.
The Season 4 Premiere episode “Now You Know” of Desperate Housewives airs on Sunday, Sept. 30 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

I really like Dana Delaney, but I am SUPER excited to see Nathon Fillion this season. He REALLY needs to be a star-I am glad to see him on one of the big Three networks…hopefully he’ll get a lot of attention from being on this show! Thanks for the scoop.

Sounds like rumors that Nicollette Sheridan has quit are true (She commited a suicide at the end of last season). What a pity then.

No Dana’s hair is not Brown blonde. Just darkbrown. And now she has been a red-head for years and years. Have you been living under a rock or something. She was already a redhead in the mid 90’s.
Desperate Housewifes has become my favorite series after Dana Delaney joined them. I like all the other girls that is in the series but Dana Delaney quickly turns whatever she is in into my favorite show, I love to watch the expressions on her face as she goes from laughing to crying she is just so good. Eva Longoria is so funny and Marcia Cross is great as is all the other actors but I would never have watched the show had it not been for Dana Delaney.
I love Dana Delany!
I saw her on Kidnapped and she is a gorgeous actress.
