Older‘Private Practice’ Promos

Private Practice series premiere “In Which We Meet Addison…” airs Wednesday, September 26 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.
Producers gave Merrin Dungey the boot and replaced her with Audra McDonald (pictured). It is not clear why Dungey, who played Addison’s best friend Dr. Naomi Bennet, left the series.
“As [creator Shonda Rhimes] has said, Grey’s was like high school,” Kate Walsh recently told TV Guide. “But the group at the Oceanside Wellness Center are like a big, grown-up family. They’ve already been through the wringer together. Well, me, of course. I’m the newbie again, a fish out of water, just like at Seattle Grace.”

I dont know if anyone else has noticed (or posted…to lazy to search posts). but Audra McDonald was SO obviously photoshopped into the group picture. it’s the exact same picture as her solo promo pic.

Lolly I agree with ya… and Bunny; you say you don’t understand the complaint with that line, I’m gonna kiss with ya tongue? ummm… maybe because it was pathetic! Everything about that scene was just so off and unnatural and cheesy. ewww I don’t want to think about it. I mean how desperate did she look in that scene. So pathetic and just unnecessary. Regardless, that whole 2 hour pilot was crap. Bad acting and bad writing from someone I expected more from… And there are some decent actors within that bunch but they were just given horrible material and everything that happened between the characters was just so boring and unrealistic.
Is that Paul Adelstein I see??? Gosh, he was a hot mess when he was on PB!

Kate looking lovely & leggy in the promo shots. You can tell she is obviously so much taller than the rest of the cast, even leaning on that table & wearing flats ! I hope Addison doesn’t give up the heels completely !
IMO, the pics are definitely photoshopped but great nonetheless.
All I know is that the spin off episode was still better than Grey’s finale and more promising than the few seconds of last night’s Grey’s promo. Now that was a piece of crap.
This is my favorite new show this coming season! I just hope it doesn’t disappoint.
woooooo man! talk abt giving addison a whole new style - they’re dressing her sooo FRESH, YOUNG, FUN & SEXY these days!!! a far cry from the original ****** black clothes, satan red lipstick & satan heels thing.
so they’ve changed her dress sense but they better not change her personality too much! i’d hate for her to lose the intense, bitchy, somewhat neurotic aspects of her personality that makes her such a fun character to watch, in exchange for a doll

greys is sucking so badly now and prp is going to be so much better then it.
These pics are really good. Kate and Amy in particular both look gorgous- and I never really thought Amy was that beautiful before. I’m not sure I like the idea of Addison in LA clothes and flats all the time though so I hope that’s not a show change. I liked her spinoff pilot ep wardrobe. It was different from Seattle, but not this different.
