OlderAngelina’s Art Store Extravaganza
Looks like the whole family is in town!
Angelina Jolie carries daughter Zahara, 2, in one hand and her Valentino braided leather shoulder bag in the other as they make a family trip into Lee’s Art Store in New York City on Friday morning. A Jolie-Pitt family fave!
Brad Pitt was seen carrying Pax, 3, into the store in one hand and holding 6-year-old Maddox’s hand in the other. Brad was also spotted buying Maddox a hot dog from one of those NYC food carts!
Even earlier in the morning, partner Brad was seen arriving at a studio in New York City again for a reading of his latest movie.
UPDATE 1: When the Jolie-Pitts left the art store, the throngs of fans outside the store burst into applause as the family walked out.
UPDATE 2: Added pictures of Brad and Maddox creating quite the spectacle for passersby as they pick up a hot dog from a NYC street vendor.

Who here has seen or met BP or AJ in person?? What was your experience like? I saw Brad at last year’s TIFF. I was among the crowd of fans who ran to the red carpet, only to be stopped by security. It was crazy, I was part of the mob that was wrestling and cursing at each other. Even when the car Brad was it left through us, we stayed on our spot, till the security told us to move to the car could get through. I was lucky enough to be in the second row of the group of fans, so I could see Brad. I was dissapointed that Angie wasn’t there. If you have seen/met them, PLEASE share your story.

Okay, I kinda exagerated the cursing part. But there was this one person who was one of the fans who were behing the bars. When all the fans not behind the bars ran to the red carpet, only to be stopped by security, this woman went crazy. She started swearing at my friend and kept complaining that she waited there for hours, while all of us fans who weren’t behind the bars just came running in front of them.

What makes you think it’s a photo-op? Do you think Brad and Angie really need it? Regardless, if the paparazzi snap recent pics, they will still be on the cover of next week’s tabloids, because they sell magazines. Why would they bring Shiloh everywhere with them? She is the youngest, and it’s better to protect her from creeps likes you.

They ate gorgeous! Z is so beautiful. Pax and Mad are adorable and Papa Pitt proud of his family and Mama Angie has that beautiful smile :-) Shi is napping you fools, you’d know if you had any kids at that age they take morning and afternoon naps!!! Geesh!
Meli–I am so sorry to hear that. So it’s still going on. My prayers are with you and all your family and everyone in Greece.
Hi Tijen–I’m going to check with Mom and Dad they do the same in Turkey when there is a long hot dry spell that’s when they start the fires to clear land to buil on. Maybe this one in Greece was an accident but I doubt it. Meli and I talked about this before. Especially if it is in four diff places. OMG how can people be so greedy and this time 12 people lost their lives…

I don’t think the clapping thing is new, the people in Chicago did it after Angie, left the bookstore. We should take that any day over a hater who tells us that people hate them. People do like them. They are polite and nice.

Just hearned from other posters about fires in Greece–is it the dryness? I also read about wild fires in Sicily, too… We just came back from France and it was so cold and wet I turned the heat on… in August! Crazy climate all over… a friend visiting Shanghai said it’s in 100s (36C). Take care Meli…
Those kids must have grown so fast persolality wise. They have integrated the craziness of the paps and the people following them.
No other family generate that kind of powerful extreme reaction. It’s frigthening and those little ones seem to deal with it with mature zen and calmness.
I think their parents have made a great job at securing them because they handle all the buzz superbly and it will toughen them up. They never seem to cry or overtly frighten but just bugged at time or stunned by all the fuss. Many adults would have reacting agressively. their parents and themselves deal with it stoically and politely.
I think those children will grow outgoing and with lots of guts and personality…and they will be perfect multilinguals and brainy. Look at 6 year old mad. He handles himself like a little man and people say that he is very smiling and polite when asking a question.

The New Yorkers are applauding them because their fans want to show them their support in the midst of all this tabloid sh*t that’s out there week after week. Get ready to see more applauding during their outings in NYC. I think it is very nice to let them know that they have public’s support and that people are rooting for the whole family.

Since none of you are sharing, I’m guessing that I’m the only one here who has seen one of them in person.
oh, to 171: the pics of Z and Angie at the toy store look like the same thing…I asked whether she was picking her nose or not…I know a lot of people love the hat, but I’d wish Brad would lose it…needs to get a new one at least ;)
#118: maybe Shiloh is sleeping because unlike Katie, they don’t cart their kids around when they need their rest.
