Holly Kennedy (Swank) is beautiful, smart, and married to the love of her life—a passionate, funny and impetuous Irishman named Gerry (Butler). So when Gerry’s life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. The only one who can help her is the person who is no longer there. Nobody knows Holly better than Gerry. So it’s a good thing he planned ahead. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. It’s photoshopped out of any life. I think people have seen too many anime films if they think this unreal picture is “hot”.
Real people have textured skin. It’s part of their beauty and character. Men have moles, hair, pores.. women have fuzz, little creases.. etc

I’d love to see this movie if it has someone more FEMININE and BEAUTIFUL. Hilary Swank is a great actress but her face doesnt make you feel the romance just like Maggie Gyllenhaal in Batman Sequel. Great movie, handsome male actor but fug-faced female star will make the movie flop. Maggie should be downgraded to play Mother/Aunt role already. She looks so aged….d.

Heard this is going to be a great movie from a person who attended a private screening. Gerard Butler was great in “300″. He definitely fits the description of tall, dark and handsome.
I saw an advance screening of the film. I hated the book, but loved this movie, and as a general rule, I do not like romance films. The film is a great improvement on the book.
This movie has lots of great comedic moments. Gerry and Hilary have wonderful chemistry together. All of the cast work very well together. Lisa Kudrow is particularly funny.
I highly recommend this film!

Gerard Butler doesn’t need to be photoshopped. I love every last masculine pore and line on his face. He is amazingly rugged and utterly fabulous.

This film had me bawling!!!! id read the book and loved it but i wasnt prepared for the impact Gerard Butler aka Gerry would have on my old heart strings……. not the greatest Irish accent in the world but still the twinkle in his eye and the on screen charisma had me hooked!! loved his shamrock boxers and braces….. gorgeous!!!! Gerry id take you home with me in a box any day !!!

i think p.s i love you is a great book but i didn’t see it in the cinema and i really wanted to!! i’ll guess i’ll just have to wait untill it comes out on dvd but i dont know if i can wait that long
p.s i love you just came out on DVD. i bought it on Tuesday and have watched it everyday since, this is friday. i have cried every time. Gerry is an amazing actor! i now have a copy of every movie he has ever been in. he has come a long way from Dracula. antisapate great things from this one.
