totally agree with camina regarding LC and her choice of dress. Lauren does wear a lot of bubble dress on her show and in real life. i guess it must be her signature look. but she look cute in those dress so its not at all a bad thing.

Yeah, they both looked amazing. Too bad Audrina sounded like there’s nothing but wind whistling through her head during their acceptance speech.

PS Both girls look like knock-outs. I love how Audrina always keeps it edgy and rocky and Lauren goes for that classic feel!

Lauren looks great but then again she always does! what i like about the dresses I’ve seen from her line is that you don’t have to be a skinny minny to wear them. i think this dress would flatter a whole bunch of different body type.

lauren looks especially pretty, it’s nice to see that the dregs of the earth (speidi) aren’t getting to her. She’s just glowing.

Vesper, for someone who dislikes Lauren so much why are you so busy sniffing around posts about her? This is your 2nd post in 2 days trashing her. It makes very little sense to spend time pursuing and posting about people you have no interest in…

As for defending Lauren, any fan like lala, deanne or myself has the right to do that. That;’s what fans are for. There’s no hero worship involved here. Yes, I like lauren and love watching the Hills but I think she’s just a normal girl who was blessed with good looks and a great opportunity. I also thinks she works very hard to pursue those said opportunities.

As for her internship, she certainly does spend quite a lot of time at Teen Vogue. Have you ever had an internship? It’s all about the grunt work. Yes, it is being filmed for TV but it’s also her “job” in real life. There’s nothing glamorous about ironing and pulling clothes for shows, it’s hard work, I know from personal experience!

Of course she has help with the clothing line, most designers do, but like any smart designer you don’t attach your name to anything you don’t have a hand in actually designing. No gullibility here. just the facts. Try working in our industry and maybe you’ll learn some actual facts as well.

Till then, why not post about things you actually enjoy and stop wasting our time and yours …

Vesper, I feel the need to add to what other people are saying. First, LC did design this dress as most of the collection. If you were a hills fan, you would have seen the DVD were they actually show you drawing her designs. LC is kinda of controlling so I am pretty sure she was involved in every step of the project: from the design, to picking the material, hell she even hand picked models for the collection. That takes talent and hard work. She has been wanting to be a fashion designer since childhood. When we first met her in Laguna, she show us her house and her small sewing machine that she used to sew barbie clothes. She was making some of her outfits in high school. Even before heading to college, she enrolled at the local community college to take some design classes… art classes. In an age where everybody wants to be an actress. She could have easily forgo her dream and hop on that band waggon but instead she stay true to herself and passion. I am sure with her looks and LIKABILITY she would been offered many roles… but time and time again she has said this is not her passion.

I have seen at least 10 pieces from the collection thus far and it looks god. It is not ground breaking, but her stuff are cute and trendy w/ good material. I will definately buy some and hoping to become a life long customer because I think that her line will continue to evolve as LC herself evolves as a person and designer.
