Owen Wilson Attempts Suicide, Hospitalized
Owen Wilson attempted suicide and was hospitalized, reports The National Enquirer and Star magazine.
“He sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills,” the rags reported. “He was discovered by a family member who summoned help. His wrist was sutured and bandaged at the hospital.”
This all went down around noon at Owen’s house on Sunday.
Owen was stabilized at St. John’s hospital in Santa Monica, Calif.
A sad, sad day. Our prayers go out to Owen and his family and friends!

omg, he seemed like one of the most happiest men on earth.
To those who have made fun or have said some mean things, I hope you all go through something like this in your families. Let’s see how you’ll joke around then. Take a good look in the mirror before saying such mean things about someone who needs help. I pray for Owen and his family and wish them all the best.
Ok everyone is givng him their thoughts and prayers. I wonder if this was the most hated person in cyber space (JA) would everyone have opened their hearts and use the “just imagine if you was you” statement”. No one really knows what these celebs go thru every day the pressure the access etc. So I am wondering where his pity party comments are?
By the way, I hope he works thru what he needs to work through. He is obviously human and like all of us and like everyone else has issue’s.
I honestly don’t know if I should believe this or not. Perhaps I just don’t want to believe it. If it’s true, then my prayers are him, his brothers and the rest of their family. I love Owen!!

so i guess its true what they say in some light, about comedians and depression. this is so very sad. he is such a handsome charming man =`( terrible terrible news. my heart is with him.
the prospect of co-starring with jennifer aniston in a movie was just too much for him. he figures it’s career suicide anyway so might as well just end it now. :(

I think I know why he did it. He’s not allowed to have his own life, the press lies about him and exaggerates sometimes. Reporters sneak around trying to get pictures of him and his “inside life” and never leave him alone. He’s always doing movies and never has time for his family and himself. He always has to walk around smiling having to look like nothing is wrong or tell anybody how he feels or it’ll be all over the magazines and internet by the next day. He has no privacy. But he’s a great guy. The minute I heard he had attemted suicide I didnt even here the part of him being alive, i thought he was dying so i spent all afternoon praying and begging god until I turned on the tv and found out he was alive. Im now praying for him and his family, I hope he never does that again. I nearly had heart failure. He’s a fantastic guy and actor and i no the world doesnt want to loose him.
This is not a time for sarcastic remarks. Owen is very talented and very loved. We are thinking of you Owen and wish only the best for you.

Maybe the gulit of having a hand in breaking up Kate’s marriage did him in? Oh huh Angie maybe she is slowing trying to kill herself, ya know since she looks like the dawn of th dead.

Whether the rumors of his attempted suicide are true or not, I wish Owen Wilson a speedy recovery, both mentally and physically.
I just hope everything works out for him. I had a friend who attempted suicide many times and beleive me her family and friends went through hell! It was depressing to be around her and I had to always watched what i said and felt i had to be fragile with her. Although i do feel badly for Owen i feel worse for what his friends and family are about to go through. It just sux that he felt suicide would be the answer to his problems.
It is true, it was confirmed by the Police call.
It is strange because he did seem so happy-go-lucky. I guess he was seriously depressed to attempt killing himself… he’s didn’t seem like a guy to even get down in the dumps let alone a type of guy who’d try to kill himself, who’d want to die. A funny, charming guy we thought was a happy guy, one drawn to making funny movies, yet perhaps it was all a cover?
I wonder what makes a famous actor with everything going for him go home and decide to kill themselves? Some say it was that his ex Kate Hudson is dating that Jackass guy, but I doubt he’d attempt suicide over a relationship that had been over for a while now?
Now when I see him in comedies it’s just going to seem fake.
I do hope he gets better emotionally.

this is one thing that i am glad didn’t end up in a horrific tragedy. i mean he knew what he was doing its just people go through stages in there life that they will never recover from maybe the pressure was just to much for him. stuff in life makes people go crazy. Britney spears for example shaved her head to send a message that something was wrong with her. . maybe Owen did it to get help. . he asked for help in the wrong way but maybe it was just his way of saying i cant do this on my own. . i pray for you Owen. . get better soon
