Papa Pitt’s Playground Family Fun

Brad Pitt takes three of his four kids — Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2 — to a park playground on New York City’s Upper East Side on Tuesday.

Mad, Pax and Z climbed across the monkey bars, dropped down the fire engine poles and slid down the spirally slides. Looks like everybody had a blast with good dad Brad!

Here are some details about Brad and Angelina Jolie’s dinner in the Hamptons, which they flew to via helicopter. E! Online reports, “The intimate four-hour soiree was attended by about 70 people, including Christie Brinkley, Pitt’s Oceans 13 costar Ellen Barkin, Donna Karan, music honcho L.A. Reid and hotelier Andre Balazs. The New Orleans-inspired buffet menu—prepared by [hosts Jane Rosenthal and husband Craig Hatkoff’s] personal chef—included crabcakes, salmon, lamb, lemon pound cake and grilled peaches.”

There is a new video of Brad and Mad on TMZ.Com.

oh get the fcuk out, what a dumbass

First, Brad Pitt tried reasoning with photogs — now he’s got a new strategy — hightailing it whenever he sees ‘em!

TMZ cameras were outside of Mars 2112 restaurant in New York City yesterday as Brad, with son Maddox clinging tightly to his back, made a speedy sprint into the building.

erry Lewis #1 Celebrity Who Influences Change, Oprah Winfrey #2
by Hope Patterson

Volunteers say it’s all about the kids, but after that, animals are America’s pet cause

Results from a Nationwide Mutual Insurance survey announced today show that Americans call Jerry Lewis the most influential celebrity for his work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Over 43 percent of respondents indicated he has been effective in getting the word out and driving change for the issue he supports.

“I’m always honored and humbled by the response of the American people to my efforts in behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and ‘my kids,’” said Jerry Lewis, who will host his 42nd MDA Telethon September 2-3. “Their generosity has allowed us to provide important services and conduct vital research for 57 years.”

Not surprisingly, children’s and youth causes topped the list of most important causes for survey respondents, with 64 percent in support.

After that, survey results went to the dogs. Animals were the second-most popular cause, with 51 percent of respondents supporting Animal advocacy organizations. This may explain why former Baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, known for her support of PETA, was among the celebrities cited by members of generation X.

In addition to Jerry Lewis, older generations favored personalities like Bill Gates (health and education), former President Jimmy Carter (Habitat for Humanity) and Michael J. Fox (Parkinson’s disease).

Younger respondents showed support for causes like education and literacy, religion and hunger. They indicated that Oprah Winfrey (African children), Angelina Jolie (International children’s causes), U2’s Bono (world poverty) and Lance Armstrong (cancer) were effective in driving change. Generation Y showed more interest in international causes than older generations.

“It’s encouraging whenever you see people inspired to support a good cause,” said Chad Jester, president of the Nationwide Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm. “But I hope that people won’t wait for their favorite celebrity to provide the motivation to support a good cause. Many nonprofit organizations are looking for volunteers all the time. Choose a cause you care about, and get involved now.”

I fail to see how riding a car in a three-hour traffic would be better than a 45-minute helicopter ride. Besides, just because Brad is doing his bit for the environment, doesn’t mean he will go pedal a bicycle from now on.

Honey, Ted called Brangelina out not angelina, you dumbass sad piece of ****

Nationwide conducted the survey to stimulate dialogue about volunteerism. The company encourages its associates to volunteer through the On Your Side Volunteer Network, a program that matches volunteers with opportunities that coincide with personal passions and skills. Currently more than 4,000 Nationwide associates have volunteered more than 40,000 hours of time since the program launched two years ago.

Interviews were conducted by Market Tools Corporation between February 2 and February 9, 2007. The margin of error is approximately plus or minus 4.56 percent.

Looks like Brad is going to Venice, I hope his film does well.

Venice promises stellar performance
Hot premieres and molto stars on tap
By NICK VIVARELLI VENICE — The Venice Film Festival kicks off Wednesday amid high expectations for a standout edition, both in terms of hot world preems and high-wattage stars expected on its striking new catwalk, dominated by a giant demolition ball intended as a renewal symbol.
The big sphere, made to look like it’s smashing the facade of the Fascist-era Palazzo del Cinema right behind the red carpet is a set piece by Oscar-winning production designer Dante Ferretti, devised with fest artistic director Marco Mueller to celebrate Venice’s 75th anniversary, just as construction on new futuristic digs at the Lido are finally said to be about to start.

“It’s definitely a sign that there is bound to be a new phase, because, with all this history, if we don’t keep moving, then Venice will just keep repeating itself and fade,” a relaxed Mueller told Daily Variety Tuesday as he sipped Chinese tea in his office.

For Mueller’s fourth time at the helm, possibly his swan song, the Lido lord has assembled a rich mix of name directors and potential discoveries with a decidedly English-language bent — Yank and Brit pics make up half the competish.

One effect of Mueller’s Anglo accent is the paparazzi are going to be molto busy with Keira Knightley, Jude Law, Michael Caine, George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson and Brad Pitt among stars said to be trekking to the Lido, just through the weekend.

Knightley, James McAvoy and Vanessa Redgrave will be inaugurating the new catwalk Wednesday, as key cast of fest opener “Atonement,” young Brit helmer Joe Wright’s adaptation of the Ian McEwan novel.

A dinner party thrown by the Venice Biennale, Universal and automaker Lancia for 1,200 invitees will segue on the Excelsior beach.

Law and Caine star in Kenneth Branagh’s “Sleuth” remake, which unspools Thursday, on the same day as Ang Lee’s highly anticipated erotic espionage thriller “Lust, Caution,” toplining Tony Leung and newcomer Tang Wei. “Lust” has just been given an NC 17 rating by the MPAA.

Clooney will be helicoptering to the Lido from his villa in nearby Lake Como to tubthump tyro helmer Tony Gilroy’s legal thriller “Michael Clayton,” for which Tilda Swinton will also be on hand.

Johansson is believed to be making the trek for both “The Nanny Diaries,” on Friday, and for Woody Allen’s “Cassandra’s Dream,” which world preems out-of-competish on Sunday.

Pitt is the protag of Western drama “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” also unspooling Sunday, in competish.

Fest organizers have announced that Johnny Depp will be on hand to present some just added advance footage of Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd” adaptation, and to bestow Burton his lifetime achievement Lion on Wednesday, Sept. 5, which will be “Tim Burton Day” on the Lido.

Another late addition to the fest is likely to be Hong Kong gangster pic specialist Johnny To’s latest, “The Mad Detective.”

Due to the onslaught of A-list talent, an existing helicopter pad at the Lido’s Nicelli airport has been spruced up and reactivated for star transport to and from hotels, though most talent will still be arriving by motorboat at the Excelsior pier.

“The heli-pad was highly necessary,” said Mueller. “If the festival is going to have this level of high-profile attendence, obviously you need to sort out the logistics for that.”

This edition of Venice could be Mueller’s last because the well-liked Lido topper’s four-year mandate expires this year. The contract is renewable, but Italo politics could jeopardize his reappointment.

While Venice, the world’s oldest film event, is celebrating its 75th anni, this is the Lido’s 64th edition because WWII and 1968 political protests forced it to skip a few years.

Fest will run Aug. 29-Sept 8.

I fail to see how riding a car in a three-hour traffic would be better than a 45-minute helicopter ride. Besides, just because Brad is doing his bit for the environment, doesn’t mean he will go pedal a bicycle from now on.

_____________________________________________________________-

Oh goodness. Seriously inform yourself about environmental issues!!! The helicopter ride is merely one example in the COLOSSAL TOXIC environmental footprint left by Pitt and Jolie. They are soaked in oil and toxic pollutants and may talk for the purpose of promoting a movie but they certainly DO NOT walk the talk.

Anyone with any semblance of common sense never mind those of us who know environmental issues cannot argue the fact that Pitt is a hypocrite - but then he is with the Queen of Hypocrites being Jolie. She’s the biggest FRAUD on the planet!!!!

I don’t care if Brad and Angelina takes a space craft to the Hamptons. If more money is raised to get those people out of trailers I am all for it. Not only will the environment be better if homes are built green but those people’s lives will be better.

Vice Pres Gore was ask about his many homes and how he travels. He explained some people have a bigger carbon footprint than others. Each person is responisble to erase there foootprint.

What are you doing about yours?

Ted C has no information just answers questions. He is less than Perez Hilton. At least PH has a tv show coming. The new guy at E! had the information about the Hampton’s dinner. Ted C is a joke.
