Following her Tuesday meeting with those at the Al Waleed camp in the war-torn nation, Jolie said, “It is absolutely essential that the ongoing debate abut Iraq’s future includes plans for addressing the enormous humanitarian consequences these people face.”

Besides her activities for UNHCR, Jolie also met privately with American troops and other multi-national forces in the region.

The UN only announced her outings by the time Angie is gone from that location. Remember her trip to Darfur earlier this year? They definitely put her and other representatives’ safey first. She is a serious activist and not a decorative one. God bless her and all the refugees.

What does Brad going to Venice have to do with anything? He isn’t a UN rep, she is, that means she goes to dangerous places. People were not blowing themselves up when she was in Chicago filming last week or in Caanes or in Prague, so your point would be what? But when she was in those places she was filming a movie, doing a job just like Brad will be when he goes to Venice. This isn’t a Brad against Angie thing, they are a couple, they support each other, parent together and love each other like any other healthy relationship. If you don’t like one over the other that is on you but as Angie has said herself so may times they are a untied in there efforts, their actions show they are moving through life together.

I could have told my hubby to put a bulls eye on her back!!!

What some lowly media outlets and posters fail to comprehend is the extraordinary appeal of Brad and Angelina as a couple, as parents, as A-list movie actors and as influential humanitarians not just in Hollywood but worldwide. The regular posters and lurkers who come to JJ know that Brad and Angie are the real deal. In as much as some posters will try to discredit them, the truth of the matter is that Brad and Angie are doing so much good and the press/media need them more than vice versa.

It’s 8:27 PM in Iraq which means Angie is probably already back with her family when People broke the news. I am amazed by this woman everyday. One of ways of being a good mom, in my opinion, is providing examples to your children one how they should live. Her bravery, her compassion for the people who are suffering and her readiness to give time and effort to showcasing refugee crisis of the world will provide, especially her daughters, great example of a human being should be. I am sure their kids will grow up to admire and respect her so much! Again, good for her!

Please let’s not encourage hateful comments. We are encouraged to delete them. Just pray for Angie to get her work done.

I normally don’t say a whole lot about this family, but I really hope Angie is safe on her trip to visit refugees in Syria/Iraq. She has 4 precious children at home to put first and I hope she takes all measures to ensure her safety.

But I do highly applaud her because through this war, a lot of people have forgotten about the innocent people who have been uprooted and lost virtually everything they own. She always seems to be on top of bringing attention to the current refugee situations across the globe. I am really proud of her for not only speaking about her aid work, but actually doing something by placing herself in dangerous situations to bring awareness.

So, God Bless Angelina and I will pray for her mission and safe return to her family.

Goodmorning BAMPZS Fans!!!

AS you all know by now whenever Angie makes her UNHCR trips to a country we never find out until AFTER she has made all of her visits to the places they wanted her to see. As you can see from the People article she has done that and I am assumming she is on her way back. It is 8:30 at night in Iraq. So she spent about 2 days there.
BTW-Angie has been to places just as dangerous or maybe more so.

I am proud of her. To those of you (mistylady mistylady, try to be a bit more discreet;-)) who say she DIDN’T have to GO there to draw ATTENTION to what’s happening in Iraq. WRONG!!! Noone would pay as much attention if she just put out a statement!
Now when she comes back, there will be pictures of her visit and her first hand account on what she saw and observed. She has always said in all of her interviews she feels she can speak about the contitions in a country because she personally witnessed it not just by reading what’s in the media or on TV..

Good job Angelina!!!!

If you read the People article about Angie in Iraq, it’s all in past tense. She is gone from Iraq by the time the UNHCR released the statements. People picked it up from the legit press. All is good. Angie knows what she is doing, she is brave but not stupid. She values her life and now with a family she has, I am sure she is even more cautious. Brad and Angie discussed everything before they each do their things. Thanks for the concerns though.
